Devoured is Emily's debut novel, I read this book when it was first released and since we got a review request for it, I decided to re-read it. Devoured was a little shorter than I prefer, and I ran into certain parts of the story were I felt things were too rushed. I was also a bit confused about Lucas and Sienna's past history, which in all honesty I felt should have been included in this novel instead of All Over You because that prequel helps clear up quite a few questions I had about Si and Lucas's past relationship. That being said, I still enjoyed Devoured and it has a great storyline. 3.5 stars

Devoured takes place 2 years after Lucas first met Sienna on the set of his music video where she is working. Lucas invited her over, but when she refused to allow him to handcuff her to his bed, Lucas just flat-out kicks Si out. Presently, Sienna has to go back to Nashville to help her grandmother who is losing her home due to foreclosure, and Si finds out that it is none other than the man that kicked her out of his place, Lucas Wolfe buying the home and forcing her grandmother out of her cherished home. He makes Sienna a proposition she can't refuse: be his personal assistant for 10 days.....and this includes doing anything and everything he says, no questions, and he will return the house back to her grandmother. Of course Sienna agrees but this deal turns out to be so much more than she expected.....feelings get involved and Lucas's crazy ex-wife Sam enters the picture, blackmailing him causing Lucas to once again turn his back on Sienna when things look like the could be working out for their relationship.

I definitely recommend you read Devoured, especially if you love drama, angst, and the thrill of the chase. In some aspects it reminds me of 50 shades with a tatted rock-star taking the lead male role. My favorite part of the book .....The Ending....PHENOMENAL and BEAUTIFUL, it was perfectly set-up and I can't wait for Si & Lucas' story to continue in Consumed.
