Shame On You by Tara Sivec ~ Review

Synopsis

War veteran Kennedy O’Brien is in the business of sticking it to the man—or at least any man who tries to cross a woman. After she returned home from Afghanistan and caught her husband in bed with the nanny, Kennedy lost her faith in men and started Fool Me Once Investigations with her two best friends. After all, there’s no better bounty hunter than a woman scorned.

When Kennedy takes a case to slap cuffs on a bail jumper turned dog-napper, she figures it’ll be an easy paycheck. But trouble has a way of finding Kennedy. Enter the last man on the planet she’d willingly choose as a partner: her cheating ex-husband’s best friend, Griffin Crawford.

As gorgeous as he is unwelcome, Griffin has always had a thing for Kennedy, and after keeping quiet about her ex’s cheating, he’ll do anything to earn back her trust. Whether or not she wants to admit it, Kennedy will need help as the case of the Chihuahua thief spirals out of control. Griffin may be just her man—in more ways than one.

3 stars!

This was a really quick, light, fun read!

I whipped right through Shame On You in one sitting, within a couple of hours actually.  I'm sure your wondering why the 3 star rating......first remember 3 stars is good.  Here's the thing....I liked this book but I didn't love it.  What held back my rating was I just didn't really connect to it.   The thing Sivec always manages to bring to the plate is her signature funny....and she did bring that in Shame On You....Kennedy's Dad and Uncle made the book, they were hilarious...and Griffin...smoking HOT!  I have to mention my favorite thing about the book....the "GD" taglines at the end of each chapter...now they were a hoot!

The story....Kennedy comes home from the military and learns of her husband's indiscretions and a betrayal by a close friend.  She chooses to help with the family business, Bail Bonds. Her father and Uncle Wallie have a job for her, find a jumper, oh and they also spring on her that she is getting a new partner.  Kennedy wants NO part of this, she likes to work alone, especially when she finds out that partner is Griffin Crawford, her cheating ex-husband’s best friend and the friend that Kennedy also believed betrayed her. It's not long before sparks fly between Kennedy and Griffin.  Can Kennedy forgive Griffin and work with him to catch the bad guy?  Or will she let her feelings get in the way?

Shame On You is a fast pace read with quite a few twists and turns you won't see coming.  If your looking for a quick, silly, funny read then snatch this one up!

Synopsis
We're thirteen girls, captive, slave to our master. A master we've never seen. Obedience will become all we know in our shallow existence. It is the only emotion we're permitted to feel. When we're bad, we're punished. When we're good, we're rewarded. Our scars run deep. Yet we survive, because we have to... because HE teaches us to. All of us are special, we feel it with everything we are. He has us for a reason, but it's a reason we don't know. We've never seen his face, but we know that something deeply broken lies beneath the darkness. With every touch, with every punishment, we know it. Then something changed. He showed me who he truly is. Now I want him. I'll go against everything I know to be with him.
A monster.
My monster.
Loving him is a sin, but a sinner I am. I won't stop until I see every part of him. Even the parts he keeps locked deep down inside.
I am Number Thirteen, and this is my story. No one said it was pretty, or right, but it's mine.

PROLOGUE
My boots crunch in the yellow autumn leaves as I walk towards the schoolyard. I didn’t want to come today, but Momma told me I had no choice. She said school is for smart kids, and if I don’t go, then how am I ever going to get smart? I could get smart, the man on the television tells me everything I need to know. But she claims that I can’t make friends with the man on the television, that the only way to make friends is to go to school. I could have told her that I don’t need friends to be successful, but she’d only tell me I’m being silly. So I came to school. I didn’t tell her that there are bullies here, or that every day they push me around and shove me into lockers. That would make me sound weak, and now that my dad is working, and my brother is away because he didn’t like the school here, I’ve had to become the man of the house. There’s no room for weakness. Momma tells me bullies pick on the kids who are victims. I think she’s wrong. I’m not a victim; I’m just a kid. They pick on me because I’m different. I don’t look at the girls like they do; I don’t try to sneak out to parties. I’m only thirteen. I’m just there to learn, then I go home and I take care of my family, because, I’m the man of the house. Like I said. The shrill sound of the school bell ringing, tells me I’m late. I pick up into a jog, rounding the corner and into the schoolyard. It’s a cool winter day, and I have to pinch my coat together to stop it from flapping in the icy breeze. I can see the students piling in the front doors, and I turn my jog into a run. I’m focusing so heavily on the doors, that I don’t see them. A strong hand lashes out, catching hold of my sleeve and tugging me into the alleyway that runs down beside my school. I always knew this alley was dangerous. My body is slammed against a hard wooden fence, and I set eyes on my bullies. Four of them. They’re all bigger than me, all of them on the football team. They’re from a few grades up, and they’ve just turned sixteen. The leader of the group, Marcel, steps forward first. He scrunches his nose in disgust, as if I’ve just dragged myself out of a gutter, as if I’m offending him. He leans in close, and I can smell cigarettes on his breath. Smoking is not cool. “You’ve been trying to avoid me, Will. Did you really think you could hide at home with Mommy, and never have to come out again?” I stare at him, wondering why he chose me to pick on. I didn’t even know his name until he flagged me down and shoved my head down a toilet six months ago. I was just a kid, keeping my head down, studying and learning like I should. Now here I am, pressed against a fence, wondering why they decided I was good enough to take extra special effort to attack. I don’t bother answering him; it’ll only make him worse. My answers won’t make a difference. If I answer, I’m wrong. If I don’t answer, I’m wrong. “Are you fucking mute, you little cunt?” My body jerks. I hate that word, it’s so…vulgar. I let my eyes move to the four other guys standing like protective pack animals around Marcel. I don’t know their names; they’re not significant enough. The tall boy with orange hair looks nervous, like he knows what’s about to happen could put him in a world of trouble - but he’s still here, still making the choice to stay. The other two guys are stony faced, and fully aware of their part in this attack. I still don’t answer him. If I just let them beat me, it’ll go away quicker. “You’re a freak, Will, do you know that?” Marcel hisses, leaning in closer. Of course I know that. I wouldn’t be pinned against a fence if I didn’t know that. Bullies are so dumb. Marcel raises his fist, and brings it down over my face, cracking my nose so hard blood spurts onto his shirt. I don’t cry out, because that’s what he wants, but the pain radiating through my head is nearly enough to make me beg. Nearly. Marcel takes hold of my shirt, and his grey eyes scan my face. He’s panting, as though I’ve shoved him into an alley and challenged him. Like this is my fault. The world is twisted like that, and it’s a lesson I’ve learned the hard way. “You know,” he growls, locking eyes with me. “I heard my girl saying how handsome you were the other day. Do you know how much it sucks to have my girl saying that a freak is handsome? Especially a freak that’s only what? Thirteen years old? Your dick would be no bigger than a tube of damned lipstick, yet she thinks you’re handsome!” I wouldn’t know how much it sucks to have a girl say that, because I don’t have a girl. Again, bullies are dumb. “Don’t answer me, you little twerp. It doesn’t matter. I will make sure by the time you leave this alley; you’re not handsome anymore. I won’t have my competition being some little weasel that can’t even speak.” I taste blood filling my mouth, and my nose is pounding so heavily I’m almost sure I can hear my own heart in my head. I don’t take my eyes from Marcel. They say look danger right in the eye; it gives you power and strength. I don’t feel powerful right now, in fact, I don’t really feel anything. Someone like me doesn’t fight, I’m the underdog, and underdogs are weak. Everyone knows it. Marcel reaches into his back pocket, and pulls out a pocket knife. The heart that feels like it’s in my head begins thumping even harder. I try not to show fear, I try to stand tall and take what he dishes out with strength, but that’s not so easy when your attacker is waving around a pocket knife. “She said it was your eyes,” he begins, lazily tracing circles on his palm with the blade. “She said they’re the most stunning eyes she’s ever seen. Like the ocean.” I didn’t know my eyes were like the ocean. He takes hold of my shirt, yanking me close. “No one is more appealing to my girl, than me.” They say bad things happen in slow motion, they’re right. I feel Marcel throw me down onto the floor. I feel every movement as my body slammed into the dirt. I feel his body weight coming over me, his knees pinning me down as I squirm. I feel his friend take my arms, pulling them above my head, while another puts a hand over my mouth. With my nose pouring with blood, that makes it difficult to breathe. I feel the knife ripping into my skin as I thrash my head from side to side, and I can feel the blood pouring down the sides of my face. Each time he attempts to stab me, I move and the knife only slices through the skin around my eye. My pained wails fill the alley, but no one comes to help me. No one is around in the one moment of my life that I need them. I know what I’ll remember most about that day, and that is the moment he finally manages to drive the knife into my eye. I don’t feel pain, not right away. Instead I hear the popping sound, as his blade pierces right through. Then I feel pressure as he twists. It’s only when he yanks it out of its socket, that I start to scream. Then the pain is unlike anything I’ve ever felt. Words cannot begin to explain the horror I feel as darkness begins to invade my body. I know my face is covered in blood, because it drips down to soak my hair. I know I bite his friends hand so hard I nearly take off his finger. I don’t know what they’re saying, or even acknowledge the moment when they run away. All I know was that I am bleeding to death in an alley, missing an eye. Red fills my vision as the blood begins to cover every part of my face. I know I’m still screaming, even though I can’t hear it. All I can hear is an excessive ringing in my ears. I can’t even move my hands to cover my eye, in an attempt to protect the empty socket. I can do nothing but lay and scream, witnessing a pain that I’ll never witness again in my life, and wondering what I did to deserve it. No one deserves to die. But I do die that day. And in my place, a monster is born.

Tortured Soul by Kirsty Dallas ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Displaying ts2.png

Displaying ts1.png

Tortured Soul synopsis:

Emily Donovan didn't know love, she didn't know gentle and her future wasn't hers to own. Because HE owned her. There is only so much one soul can take before it is broken beyond repair and she had reached that milestone long ago.
Braiden Montgomery had secrets, secrets that would see a special place in hell reserved just for him. He was trying to make amends, trying to find his own form of redemption when a waif of a girl with jet black hair and pale blue eyes seized his heart.
Emily's soul had been tortured by men like Braiden, so trusting the dark haired Dom would be one of the most difficult things she would ever do. For a man with skills like Braiden, keeping 'Em' safe would be a piece of cake. Bringing her frozen heart back to life might just prove impossible though.

Review

4.5 Amazing Stars!

Kirsty Dallas never fails to amaze me.  Each book in her Mercy's Angels series just get better and Tortured Soul is the best yet!

Emily Donovan is broken.  For years she has been beaten, raped, broken, and enslaved.  She didn't understand gentle touches, love, or compassion.  After being controlled for so many years she is given a chance to be free but she doesn't know HOW to move past what she's been trained to do for years.

Braiden Montgomery is trying to make amends for his past.  He has done and seen things that he carries with him and has a hard time moving past.  When on a mission to save Emily something in him breaks, and he can't see past how beautiful and broken she is.  All he wants is for her to heal; what he doesn't want to do is break her all over again.

I absolutely LOVED this book.  Emily is seriously broken in all ways in her head.  What she doesn't see is how absolutely strong she is by surviving the hell she lived in for years.  When Braiden is around, though, she feels safe.

Braiden is amazingly sexy.  He's dominant but caring and gives as much as he takes.  He fights for Emily in all ways he knows how; going after her captor, giving over his control to let her take the lead, and protecting her at all costs.

"'Am I yours, Em?' I asked as soon as I found my voice again.  'In every way, Shakhta,' she breathed without any sign of uncertainty."

Tortured Soul had so much to it there aren't enough words.  Passion, love, hate, emotion, sex, dominance, love, and so much more.  I already enjoyed the first two books in the Mercy's Angels series but Tortured Soul easily moved it to one of my favorite series all together.  You definitely have to read this!!

Excerpt:
Cuba’s POV
Not exactly a meet-cute…

The room closed in, making me sweat. I hadn’t talked to her in over a year, and now here we were, face-to-face. Two ex-lovers who hated each other.

I had to get away from her.

Dovey tilted her head as I stood, giving me a scathing glare. “Leaving so soon? Yeah, go ahead, cut and run. Coward.”

I ignored her and tried to get Weinstein’s attention, to let her know she could flunk me for all I cared.

“Before you go, tell me one thing, and I’ll make sure we aren’t partners in this class. You’ll be free of me,” she said.

“What?” I asked, my voice going all raspy, blocking all the words I wanted to say. They weren’t things she ever needed to hear.

“Why so cruel to me? You aren’t to the other girls you date and dump. Why single me out?”
I seethed. “And it didn’t take you long to find someone else, now did it? How is Spider? Does he get you hot like I did?”

She smirked. “He’s fine. He thinks I hung the moon. He thinks you’re an ass. I agree.”

I tightened my fists and pressed them against my thighs, swearing to myself I wasn’t responding to her bait. I swore. She was a dangerous game I didn’t need to play.

Suddenly, her face fell. Was she recalling the last time we were together? Was she remembering how I used to…

“I trusted you,” she whispered, all her anger seeming to be gone. The unsteadiness of her voice undid me, sent me right over the edge of that precarious cliff I’d been hanging on to by the skin of my teeth.
Yeah, she hadn’t been the only one who’d trusted me. I’d ruined them all. Every last one. Dark thoughts assaulted me, of the blood I had on my hands.

Snap! My pencil broke and small pieces flew across my desk and into the empty space between us.
I wanted to pummel my desk until my fists bled. I wanted to punch a hole through the wall, the floor, my face.

Everything was my fault. Just mine.

She’d been collateral damage, the kind that breaks everyone involved. And I was sorry for it, but sometimes you do what hurts because it’s for the best.

But she was my kryptonite, leaving me no option but to hurt her. Again.

I didn’t think about my cruel words, I just said them. “You were a curiosity, Dovey. You weren’t the usual BA girl, and I wanted a taste. That’s all. I moved on when it got boring. Get over it.”

Review

3.5 - 4 stars

Moore Than Forever is the third and final book in the Needing Moore series. You must read the previous two books in the series to read Moore Than Forever.

This has been one of my favorite series.  I love the age of these characters,  I love the sweet, sweet love story (and steamy sex ;), I love the second chance at true love....I have to be honest, I hardcore LOVED book one and book two, I just enjoyed book three.  We all know that Mia and Schooner have already been through so much in their relationship, and with the way things left off in book two, I didn't expect things to fall together quite as easily as they did for them, but they most certainly deserved this.  From there it was just a nice "even keel" and I found myself wanting to skim to get to the end.

Learning how to fight, cope, share victory, tragedy, hope and disappointment was something they were going to need to learn to do together, without running or retreating.

Okay, for the story....Moore Than Forever starts off right where Moore to Lose left off. After the horrible phone call between Mia and Schooner, Mia is in labor in New York and Schooner is in California. And ladies and gentleman, we have one pissed off BBC in the house!!! Mia does not call Schooner to let him know that she is in labor.  She is hurt and feeling neglected, she realizes that Schooner wants to be there for Zac, even after all he has done, he is still Schooner's son,  but she just can't get over the fact that he is there with CJ too.  When their friends realize what is going on, they make the call and let Schooner know.  While he doesn't make it there in time for Nathaniel's arrival, he vows to be there for Mia and Nathaniel from that moment on. So without giving to much away, we get to watch these characters grow, learn from their mistakes, face their pasts, learn to communicate, and just simply love!

“Your first and your last, Baby Girl. Your first and your last.” - Schooner

Overall, this was a good conclusion to this series, and this is definitely a great series that doesn't get the notice it deserves!  Mia and Schooner's journey of finding their way back to each other, is one I will never forget! Now, I really hope Julie decides to give Zac his own book (and we see more of the Moore family)....I think it's time for him to get redemption.

Review

I enjoyed this book. This is my first book by Michelle Pace, and it was beautifully written and the story sucked me in and I instantly became invested in the characters....you couldn't help but want every single one of them to get their HEA! 4 stars.

I'm not going to go to much into the story, (and the reason is, the story was a little different than I expected so I don't want to ruin it) but Annie is this flawed character who is gorgeous on the outside but on the inside she is just so incredibly hurt and damaged. Then you have the two Beaumont brothers....both with their own issues they are battling. When their paths cross, it creates an intense story with tons of twists and turns I didn't see coming!

Like I mentioned above this was definitely a good story, lots of sizzling chemistry and even suspensful at times. My only complaint is I usually like the multiple POV's, but in this story we got quite a few chapters in different characters POV's and it kinda of threw me.....other than that, a great read!

Synopsis
Kidnapped. Taken to a private island. I never thought this could happen to me. I never imagined one chance meeting on the eve of my eighteenth birthday could change my life so completely. Now I belong to him. To Julian. To a man who is as ruthless as he is beautiful – a man whose touch makes me burn. A man whose tenderness I find more devastating than his cruelty. My captor is an enigma. I don’t know who he is or why he took me. There is a darkness inside him – a darkness that scares me even as it draws me in. My name is Nora Leston, and this is my story. WARNING: This is NOT a traditional romance. It contains disturbing subject matter, including themes of questionable consent and Stockholm Syndrome, as well as graphic sexual content. This is a work of fiction intended for a mature, 18+ audience only. The author neither endorses nor condones this type of behavior.

Review

I am such a sucker for kidnapped books….once I see kidnapped and dark in the same line, I’m a goner! So, I was instantly intrigued with Twist Me’s synopsis and I really enjoyed this book.  I read it in one sitting. 4 stars

He just touches me. Like he has the right to do so. Like I belong to him - something deep inside me senses that he could've easily gone further, that he doesn't play by the normal rules. That he's probably the most dangerous creature I've ever met.

Nora is a simple, good girl.  She’s not into all the make-up and frilly clothes like most almost 18 year old girls. She is a shy virgin, harboring a crush on one of her classmates.   A couple of weeks before her 18th birthday she sneaks into a club with her best friend and meets Julian.  She doesn’t know what it is about him, but he consumes her and she’s attracted to him, but fearful of him at the same time.  When she leaves the club that night Nora is certain she will never see Julian again……boy, is she ever wrong.

A couple weeks later, Nora’s worst fears have come true.  She wakes up kidnapped, taken from her family and friends.  She’s on an island, in the middle of nowhere, with only Julian and her guard Beth to watch over her.  She soon realizes that Julian is ruthless and he wants Nora, is obsessed with Nora, and who she reminds him of.  Julian is going to take what he wants, when he wants it….whether Nora wants it or not.  But it’s not long before Nora is giving into that intense attraction that she initially felt to Julian and craving the release only he can give her….and soon maybe more feelings develop than these two realize.  What happens when all of Julian’s secrets are revealed and his enemies will do anything to hit Julian where it hurts….and where it hurts is Nora?

“He turns me inside out, take me apart, and puts me back together—all in the span of one night.”

Another book I really enjoyed, like I mentioned above this is my kind of read.  I love the dark, twisted romances with tons of passion and Twist Me definitely had this with a suspense factor to it.  Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Tricks Blog Tour Banner Synopsis
Love can play tricks on your heart… After serving several years in the United States Marine Corps, Sergeant Tucker Patton decides to hang up his uniform and go to work at a private investigative firm owned by his buddy. His boxes are packed and he’s got one foot out the door when a phone call changes everything.
Instead of going to North Carolina, he heads to New York City to literally step into the life of his twin brother, who died under suspicious circumstances. But pretending to be someone else isn’t easy.
Especially when the person you’re supposed to be is wanted dead. Not only that, but he’s going from being blissfully single to living with his brother’s woman. An uptight, no-nonsense lawyer.
Charlotte Rose Carter doesn’t have time for fun and games. She graduated with honors and made all the right moves fresh out of college to jumpstart her career as a successful young lawyer. She even snagged the most eligible bachelor in New York City’s corporate world.
So what if her and Max’s relationship isn’t burning up the sheets? So what if their life doesn't read like a chapter from a sizzling romance novel? This is the real world, and in the real world that stuff is just fantasy.
Until it isn’t.
Suddenly, just the slightest touch or a single glance from Max has her heart doing somersaults. Suddenly, the lackluster relationship begins to spark, and Charlotte finds herself tied in a knot of desire.
But she has no idea about the tricks being played right under her perky little nose.

Excerpt
Chapter 1 - Tucker
My mouth felt like it was packed with cotton. You know that dry but slightly sticky feeling? My tongue moved and it brushed against the roof of my mouth, and the cotton came with it.
I grunted and opened my eyes, only to immediately shut them again. I wasn’t ready for morning. Shit, how much did I drink last night? My body was still heavy with sleep, my limbs not wanting to cooperate.
One of my arms was flung wide and I pulled it in to rub a hand over my sleepy face, hoping it would wake me up a little more. I knew I needed to get up… I just couldn’t think of the reason.
Something shifted beside me and I felt the covers lift and drop. The soft sound of footsteps reached my ears. It wasn’t a something. It was a someone.
I went home with someone last night.
Opening my eyes again, I glanced to my left in time to see a woman wearing nothing but a pink thong step into the adjoining bathroom and quietly close the door. Well, now I remembered the reason I went home with her.
Her ass was luscious.
Vague memories of last night filtered through my hazy, beer-soaked memory of skin against skin and a low seductive laugh. What was her name again? Veronica? Violet? Shit, I hadn’t a clue.
Tossing away the covers, I swung my legs over the side of the mattress and looked down. I was buck-ass naked. I looked around for my clothes, which were lying in a pile near the door of the bedroom.
Must have been in a hurry to get naked. I smirked. I was always in a hurry to get naked. Especially when I was with a woman with an ass like that.
I glanced back at the closed bathroom door as the toilet flushed and the tap water turned on. That was my cue to leave. I had on my boxers and jeans before the door opened.
Rushing out the door with shirt in hand seemed a little immature, so I turned. And, man, did I get an eyeful. There was no way in hell her boobs were real. They were too perfect. Large round, creamy globes sat high atop her chest. They gave way to a flat stomach with a light-reflecting stud in her bellybutton. The pink thong was still in place but left little to imagination, and her long, tan legs stretched all the way to the floor.
Her hair was dark, her features exotic, and her lips were full.
Even drunk, I had great taste.
I motioned with my chin, a little what’s up gesture, and draped my T-shirt over my shoulder.
“Leaving so soon?” she asked, padding across the carpeting toward me.
I didn’t even pretend to not look at her chest. Shit, this had been a one-night stand. She could think I was a dog all she wanted. Hell, she’d be right.
‘Course, she clearly wasn’t the type of girl to be offended by my wandering eyes. She walked right up to me, wound her arms around my bare waist, and pressed those perfect tits right up against my chest. Then she rubbed around like she was a cat and I was her scratching pole.
“Don’t you want to stay for breakfast?” she purred.
“Much as I’d like to, I can’t. Got somewhere to be.”
The woman whose name might or might not be Veronica pulled back and sashayed her ass across the room to a wooden nightstand by the bed. She bent at the waist, giving me the perfect view of said bottom as she scrawled something on a piece of paper.
I considered staying longer, but if I did that, she’d think this wasn’t just a one-night stand. Girls were complicated like that. If our night stretched into morning, they got ideas. Ideas that maybe they would be the one to capture the guy no one else could. They would read something more into morning sex than the sex that occurred late at night when both our tongues tasted of beer.
I might sleep around, I might like a variety of ladies, but I never gave false hope where there was none. I might be a dog, but I wasn’t an ass.
Sweet cheeks (I had to call her something) swayed her hips back across the room and held out a scrap of paper to me. “Call me,” she said, flipping her hair behind her shoulder.
I glanced at her chest one more time, then stuffed the piece of paper in the front pocket of my jeans.
She leaned up and pressed her lips to mine, slipping her tongue between. I kissed her back quickly and then slowly pulled away. Reaching around, I palmed her ass. “Thanks for last night,” I said and walked out of her bedroom without even looking back.
By the front door, I found my shoes and leather jacket and quickly finished dressing before stepping out into the cold morning air. I wasn’t going to miss this cold. I was actually looking forward to moving on, trying something new.
A thin layer of frost covered the windshield on my truck. Instead of getting out and scraping it, I blasted the heat and let the engine idle, letting it melt on its own. While I waited, I pulled out the already crumpled piece of paper I was just given. Smoothing it out, I looked down, my eyes skimming over the number I was never going to call to look for her name.
I laughed and crumpled the paper back up and tossed in on the floor of the truck.
Rachel.
Damn. I hadn’t even been close.

I loved this story! I was sucked in from the very first page and Cambria is a great story teller....oh and Tucker, YUM! 4 stars!

In Tricks, we meet Sargent Tucker Patton (he's Nathan's friend from Text).  He is fresh out of the Marines, and headed to start his life over.  What Tucker doesn't expect is for his life to take an unfortunate turn for the worse.  His twin brother is killed.  Now he has to head to New York, assume the identity of his brother, and work to bring down his killer and get justice for his brother.  What he doesn't expect along this journey is Max's girlfriend Charlotte Carter.

Charlotte Carter can't figure out excactly what is different about Max. She just knows that something is, and she feels this indescribable sexual pull to him all of a sudden.  Max acts different towards her, but yet he's the same, and she just can't put her finger on what is different.  Charlotte just knows something is going on....can she figure it out before her world is flipped upside down?

I loved the passion, romance, and suspense of Tricks!  I definitely recommend you read all the books in this series.
