Mary's Men by Stephanie Beck ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Blurb:

Three husbands—a dream come true or a pipe dream destined to break them all?

Mary Duncan likes to think she's as open as any modern 1960's woman, but when her boyfriend presents his vision of "family" she finds herself between twin brothers and a cousin—all willing to love her if she'll have them…together.

Loving Thomas and Paul comes easily, the sexy twins everything she'd never hoped to dream. If not for her new mother-in-law, the gossiping townsfolk, and the wall of silence from her own family, Mary would be in Montana heaven. Just as the young group finally start to find their footing with the new relationship, Duane Paraby returns from Vietnam, reluctant to join the relationship, but an integral part Mary refuses to give up.

When confrontation explodes around them, threatening to terminate their bonds before they're even set, Paul, Thomas, and Duane will have to prove they have what it takes to be Mary's men.

Review

This book was entertaining and very steamy. It was the first time I have read about a committed relationship between four individuals and the entire relationship revolved around the female with no m/m relations. It basically gave us an idea of what the relationship was like on the inside and the outside, showing their intimate home life and the prejudice they faced from forces that didn't agree with this relationship.

Thomas and Paul are twins and they want Mary. They also want to bring their cousin Duane into the relationship. This is something they knew they always wanted to do, as they feel like each man can give their significant other a piece of themselves that they feel they may be lacking in. The story starts out with Thomas in a relationship with Mary, he introduces Mary to Paul in the hopes of bringing him into their relationship. Mary is against the idea...having grew up in a polygamist community she wants nothing to do with it. Eventually, Mary gives in and develops a meaningful relationship with Paul and Thomas that seems to work well. When Duane comes home from the war, Mary has to fight to get him to go along with the relationship. Will Duane give in and join their family? Can they really make this relationship work?

This was a fast read for me and I enjoyed it. The sex scenes were steamy and the story was able to keep me engaged since it was different than the normal books I usually read.
