Finding You by S.K. Hartley ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Synopsis:

I will always take care of you'

My pain started when I was just ten years old, it was the day my mom got that dreaded phone call. Life has never been the same.... 'I will always protect you' I am all kinds of broken.... I have known Logan White since forever, he is my brothers best friend and my secret protector. I used to have nightmares that drew me into a dark place and when the nightmares got too much, Logan was by my side. The nightmares are few and far between now, but my life is centered around the tragedy of my past. Logan is the definition of 'man whore', with girls lining around the block to drop their panties at the click of his fingers. But after an unexpected moment things change. Now Logan is somebody else; hot, sexy and so damn delicious and I want to know him. Desperately. But then there is Angel Walker who is far from the angelic nature of his name, with eyes so hypnotic that I lose my inhabitation’s just by staring into them. But he is a broken man who just screams sin. He doesn't want to protect me or care for me, He just wants me. Do I want the man who can cut through all of my pain or the man who could cause me more? Fists will fly, hearts will shatter and desire will be fueled.

Holy eff. Of course there was a cliff hanger at the end of this book, and of course it's a book that I am absolutely dying to read RIGHT NOW, and of course I have a huge book hangover so I can't get into anything else right now because of it.

Finding You is about college student, Neva James. Ten years ago she lost her father in a sudden car accident and hasn't gotten over her loss. Throughout the years she's struggled with grief, guilt, nightmares, and the pain of losing someone she loves.

Logan White has always been there for Neva. As her brother's best friend, he's been there to protect and care for her when she needs him. Although a manwhore by day, he's never hesitated to be there when she needs him. All of a sudden she sees him differently. He's hot, sweet, and always there for her-and Neva can't understand her sudden feelings towards him.

"I will always protect you Nev."

While trying to understand her feelings for Logan, in walks Angel. Don't let the name fool you, he's the epitome of dark and dangerous. Not giving up much information about his past, Angel somehow worms his way into Neva's life. She has an inexplicable pull towards him and can't fight the attraction.

"He was lickable, edible, and oh-so-sinful."

Neva can't figure out what she wants. Logan knows her past and with him she can't escape her pain because he knows what she's feeling and why. Angel doesn't know about her past, with him she's free but he doesn't have that hold on her heart that Logan does. They're different. They're addictive. They're two different people.

This book seriously was one of the biggest surprises I've read all year. I was drawn to the synopsis of this book because it sounded a lot like one of my favorites. There was so much to this book-love, sex, a love triangle, music, pain, danger-it just kept me intrigued the entire time. Finding You kept me frustrated, hopeful, and guessing the entire way through. I absolutely loved the story and what it did for each character. I learned just enough about them to keep me wanting more and then left me hanging at the end so I'm dying for book two. I NEVER saw the ending coming the way it did, so while I'm beyond annoyed I have to wait for book two, I am glad that the author was able to keep the book unpredictable.

I have no idea how long it is going to take for book two to come out, but whatever amount of time it is is way too long. I highly enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it!! I am anxiously awaiting the next!
