I love this Rock Star series!.Battlescars was good but Afflicted was flipping awesome! I loved Jake BUT I loved, loved, loved Blake who can be so super sweet but also has his cocky, bad boy, rock star ways! I also love that we get to visit with all the old characters from Battlescars in Afflicted especially Jake, Aubrey, and Granny Jean. 4.5 stars.
Afflicted is Piper and Blake's story. Piper has been with Cole for so long that he is all she knows, it's hard to let go of your first love and she is trying to hold on to what they have. Blake has had his heart shattered in the past by his ex Rowan (ahhhh the Prologue killed me....my poor Blake) so now he keeps his heart safe and is the ultimate player, messing around with random girls. When Blake meets Piper, they can't keep their hands off each other or resist the pull they have but Piper keeps running back to Cole again and again. Just when everything seems like it will fall in to place for this couple everything goes wrong and they are both left broken....will Blake and Piper get their HEA together? Read on to find out!
I highly recommend this series, especially for you lovers of Rock Stars. Afflicted was dramatic, funny, heart-wrenching, and finally heart-warming.
