Review
Okay....everyone knows that I am a HUGE fan of forbidden love, anything taboo I am all over it, but I have to be honest, I had a hard time reading book one. It should have never happened, it was dangerous, it was forbidden, it was wrong...and that is exactly how I felt while reading it, it left me gasping, reeling! If the books hadn't been bundled I probably wouldn't have continued reading on to book two, and let me tell you, I would have missed out on an EPIC love story. So my advice to you is if you feel this way, keep reading! The Education of Caroline made it all worthwhile, a beautiful, captivating romance that endeared these characters to me, I don't think I will stop thinking about Caroline and Sebastian for a long time! 5 stars.
“Everything had a price; every glance, every kiss, every stolen touch…”
The Education of Sebastian
Caroline is stuck in a loveless marriage, she puts forth a happy front as a military wife but her and her husband David are anything but happy. They have just recently moved back to the west coast and she meets Sebastian again (she knew him when he was only 8 years old, but then her and David moved). Sebastian has grown into quite the handsome young man, and there is definitely a physical connection between the two of them BUT its not all physical, it's also emotional. Sebastian is attentive, he cares about Caroline, he treats her so different than David does, and no matter how much she longs for the sensitive, beautiful, emotional boy with the crappy home life, Caroline knows she must not give in due to how wrong the whole situation would be with their age (and she doesn't truly know Sebastian's real age) difference and marital status. In spite of everything, these two just can't stay away from each other, the pull is just to strong.....and you know things just can't end well....or can they?
"When you love someone, let it be just love. Don't let anything come between you, including age differences"
The Education of Caroline
*Sigh* My favorite of the two! I lived this book! I was so on edge in book 1, but book 2 just set my romantic little heart a float! This book takes place 10 years later. Sebastian is 27 and in the Marine Corps. Caroline is 40 and is a successful writer and press correspondence. These two haven't really lived their lives over the last ten years, Caroline just having a very few meaningless flings and Sebastian having quite a few meaningless flings. When they run into each other again, Sebastian is very angry...angry that Caroline didn't come for him, angry that he waited for her for three years for nothing. Beneath that anger though is the old spark and soon these two have a second chance at love, at a chance at true happiness. Now that age is not so much a factor they have other obstacles to overcome....will their love conquer all?
“I love you, Caro, so much.” I couldn’t believe he was saying these words to me. “I haven’t changed how I feel. I still love you—I’ve always loved you. It’s only ever been you.”
This love story is simply AMAZING, it is PHENOMENAL. Every second was worth it...the moments I cringed, the moments my heart ached, and the moments my heart soared with happiness and love for these characters! Every book I read of Jane's is a must-read, add this one to your TBR list!

I started writing contemporary romance two years ago. Before that, I didn’t think I could write a sex scene. Turns out I can!
My lucky number is 13 because I was born on the 13th and live near a haunted castle by the ocean. My number one past-time is watching hot surfers get changed into (and out of) their wetsuits.
My husband doesn’t read my books. My mother does.
Writing is my love, my hobby, my total addiction. All my characters are important to me and whisper their stories, even when I’ve finished writing their books. That’s why you’ll often find bonus chapters/out-takes from various books, because those voices just won’t be quiet.
