Sweet Filthy Boy by Christina Lauren ~ Blog Tour

Summary

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away

Review

I have to be honest, when I first seen that the Christina Lauren was releasing a new series my first thoughts were "How are they going to top the Beautiful Bastard series?" Well, they did that and so much more...this is probably my favorite book of theirs! SWB was sexy and steamy, but also funny and heartfelt! You couldn't help but cheer on Ansel and Mia's relationship, and really hope that these two characters would get a fairy-tale ending! 4.5 stars!

"You should come to Paris with me."
"Ha. Okay."
He studies me for a long beat.
"I'm serious."

Mia Holland and her two girlfriends, Harlow and Lola, have just graduated college.  They take off to Vegas to party and to celebrate their graduation.  While there, Mia and meets Ansel.  Mia is usually quiet and reserved, but to her surprise and her friends surprise, she feels very comfortable with Ansel.  Ansel brings out a side of Mia she's never knew existed.  After one crazy, crazy night in Vegas changes everything, Mia makes the most impulsive decision of her life....to spend the summer in Paris with Ansel.  Mia gets a chance to explore the beautiful city and explore her relationship with Ansel.  Ansel is so busy with work when they get to Paris, and things are awkward at first, because of the unknown, because of not thinking things through....just knowing they wanted to be together. Once those walls are worn down, Mia and Ansel get a chance to work in reverse...to get to know one another, to fall and love, and a chance to see if their relationship can make it for the long haul.

"What you feel, Cerise? I feel it, too. F@#k Mia. I feel everything for you.”

Definitely a book to add to your TBR list.  Maybe the story was a bit unrealistic and you know this wouldn't happen in real life, but books are all about fantasy! I could totally see Sweet Filthy Boy being made into a movie!  SWB is one of my favorites of 2014, very sweet and filthy...just like the book title! Although, I would have loved to see more of an ending for Ansel and Mia, I think we will see more of them in the other books of this series.  I can't wait to see what adventure these authors take us on next!

Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.

Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. Married to the cutest boy in school, she has a thirteen year old daughter, is an unapologetic lover of boy bands and glitter, and also likes to steal Lo’s shoes.
