Review
The Unfinished Hero's series is my favorite of KA's so far! Loved Knight, Loved Creed, and was not disappointed with Raiden Ulysses Miller, good lord....talk about one smoking, hot, man!. KA writes these alpha males that instantly make you fall in love with them. If you haven't read this series it is a must!
Hanna has been in love with Raid since she played tug of war on his team when she was 6 yrs old but Raid never paid Hanna any attention. Twenty plus years later, when Raid returns home after leaving the Marine's Hanna just wants Raid to notice her. When it doesn't happen and she sees him with a woman that is nothing like her, Hanna gives up hope of Raid ever noticing her and decides from that moment on to live her life for herself. She gives herself a makeover, buys some new toys, and lives life to the fullest. When Raid takes notice of Hanna, her world is rocked.
When Raid is assigned an assignment that has him watching over Hanna, he never expects to fall for the women standing in front of him. She is innocent, cute, funny, and like a breath of fresh air. He see's Hanna as his reward for the tough life that he has lived and the suffering he has been through. Raid is not the same man he once was, the question is, can Hanna help Raid heal and face his past? Can Raid protect Hanna from the dark, sinister world that he lives in?
I loved this story, Hanna was such a likeable heroine, so down to earth and Raid was just sexy as all get out! I can't tell you how many times I laughed, cried, then swooned while reading this book. I loved the epilogue but felt it was a little rushed and we missed out on a little of Raid and Hanna's story. Hopefully we will get to see bits and pieces of them in the next book in the Unfinished Hero's series!
