Teaser:
“I’ve never met anyone like you before Araya. The way you view life and love;
you’re not angry with anything that’s happened to you.”
I turned my head toward him, and a smile tilted the corner of my lips. “Yeah, I’m kind of amazing that way.” I teased.
He rolled over, bracing his arms on either side of my head, and we stared
at each other upside down. His thumbs swept across my cheeks and his
fingers caressed the sides of my neck up to my jaw. Tilting my neck
back, he kissed my chin, and the dip below my bottom lip. He brushed his
lips back and forth over mine, but the touch was so light, I couldn’t
even be completely sure it had happened.
“Yes, you are.” He whispered.
Review
The Edge of Darkness is an amazing book! Love is blind, when you love someone you don't see the flaws in them, you love them for the person that they are, and that is just what happens between Ryland and Araya in the Edge of Darkness. 4 Beautiful, heart-wrenching stars!
“We live to survive and we survive to live, and in between that, we forget the point of it all.”
After a tragic accident took her mother away and left her scarred, Araya went to go live with her cold and calculating aunt and drunken uncle who didn't want her and felt burden by her. They refused to help her adjust to living as a blind girl, they made her feel helpless and not beautiful. On one of her rare occasions out of the house, Araya by chance meets Ryland Dare at the park. He asks her out but Araya leaves him hanging. What she thinks is a one time meeting turns into more when all of a sudden her aunt shows an interest and takes her to a tutor. This tutor just happens to be Ryland's sister, Cara or Careless as they call her. The more time Araya and Ryland spend together they find themselves falling in love. Ryland is the typical playboy with the world at his hands, he's set to take over his family business and his father will stop at nothing to make sure that happens, especially making sure he stays away from the blind girl he deems not good enough and a burden for his son. Ryland makes Araya see that even though she is in the darkness there is light, she is not hopeless, life is worth living. But with so many people plotting against their relationship, things begin to unravel, secrets are revealed....will Ryland and Araya's relationship survive it all or will the darkness bring them down?
"Love hard and when it’s worth it, risk it all. Don’t ever stop dreaming and reach beyond your own insecurities and touch the impossible."
Another must read! The Edge of Darkness was a beautiful, emotional, gut-clenching, love story that pulled at my heartstrings! Be warned, it does end on a cliffhanger and I am dying to get my hands on the next book in the series!!

Author Bio:
I find it hard to sum up my life in a paragraph, but I’ll try.
I am the author of Flutter, The Discover Series! Reading has always been a passion for me, and writing as instinctive as breathing.
Every inhale is an idea; every exhale a creation. The only thing I do better than writing you ask? Making beautiful girls. My daughter’s will always be my greatest accomplishment.
I was born in Denver, Colorado–but I will always think of sunny Arizona as my home. I don’t have a big family, but I’m close with my sister, brother
& my mom. My mom is my hero, my inspiration, and I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing person to be raised by.
4 things you should know about me: I’m very girly, but I can get down and dirty with the best of them. I adore the color pink and things that sparkle
(including vampires), I am a firm believer that chocolate cures ALL and I like even numbers (hence 4 things about me, not 5) Okay, maybe I cheated a little with my list, shhhh.
