Breeze of Life by Kirsty Dallas ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Synopsis:

Recommended for 17 years+. This book contains language which some may find offensive and sexual situations.

Bree ‘Breeze’ Delany never imagined her life could sink so deep. That such intense pain could take up residence in her heart and shred her soul to pieces. And all it had taken was one little word to drag Bree to the depths of this despair, cancer.

It took just one person to pull Bree from the darkness, her best friend Harper Somerville. Determined to show his Breeze the beauty in life no matter how short or long it is, Harper takes Bree on the road trip of a life time.

Not only does Harper remind Bree how exciting and beautiful life is, but he also shows her a passion and love that she has only read about in her naughty romance novels.

Screw happily ever afters, perhaps life was meant to be lived with happily ever nows…

REVIEW

*4 Stars*

Breeze of Life was a truly inspiring and touching book. The book follows Breeze as she struggles coming out of a deep depression after learning she had cancer 8 months ago. As she wallows in self pity her best friend, Harper, learns she kept this secret from him and returns into her life.

Harper learns that Bree has been keeping a huge secret. Cancer. The news leaves him pissed, hurt, scared, but most of all determined. Determined to be there for her no matter what happens, determined to bring her out of her funk, and determined to teach her to live life for the now.

This story was an amazing read. It had everything you can ask for- heart, humor, sex, raw emotions, friendship, and love. Harper is the most amazing friend anyone can ask for. He doesn't ever give up on Breeze and makes sure she knows he isn't ever leaving her side again. He knows she's struggling with her appearance, wondering what if, and is forgetting what she DOES have and is instead thinking "poor me".

It's easy in life to forget and appreciate every simple thing we have in life with all of life's added stresses, but Breeze of Life makes you want to live for now. Appreciate the sunset. Hug the ones you love. Make the most of life. Tomorrow is never promised, whether it's cancer, old age, or getting hit by a bus-you can never take life for granted.

Kirsty Dallas has a way with her stories that truly makes you believe and want to live your life better. This is definitely a must read!!
