Synopsis
Companion to "Unbreakable" -- Landon's story
**This book is a Contemporary Romance and contains mature subject matter. It is not intended for those under 17 years of age.**
I’ve found it’s easier to share my body but not my soul. I need no one, yet I crave her.
Self-assured and independent, she doesn’t need me—but she wants me, and undeniably I want her too. At war with myself as I battle the secrets of my past, I don’t know if I can allow her to see the darkest parts of me, the parts I’ve left untouched—undone.
As she chips away at the walls I’ve built for years, I fear those secrets will hold me hostage from love—forever.

Review
I adored this story, it’s just what I needed after all the “dark and twisted” reads I’ve been reading lately….sure Landon has a darker past, combine that with the sweet and sexy in this story and it was just enough to keep me interested and make me really enjoy it. 4 stars.
“I’m going to break my rules for you, Reagan,” I whisper in her ear. “Rule number one. I never f@ck the same woman twice. Rule number two. I don’t kiss women.”
Landon was first introduced in the first book of the Unbreakable series, Unbreakable, and that’s where I feel in love with him. If you’ve read Unbreakable you know that Landon makes a huge sacrifice and lets Jess go in the end (the only woman he ever had a connection with) and I felt so bad for him and couldn’t wait to hear his story.
Landon our hero had a horrible childhood. His father beat him, and his mother deserted him and his sister Lindsay. Landon is damaged from his past; he never sleeps with the same woman twice, never dates them, and definitely makes sure not to fall in love. Then he meets Reagan one night in a bar while on patrol as his job as a police officer. Reagan is smart, beautiful, and she’s a Doctor….she changes Landon’s view on everything and makes him break his rules. Both Landon and Reagan have secrets, and their journey is not easy...but love is worth risking it all. Can they let go of their past and build a relationship….will Landon ever trust Reagan and let her in?
“Let me love you, let me care for you - let me love you.”
I love this series. Landon and Reagan’s story was full of turmoil, angst, and ultimately love! Next up is Lindsay and Matt’s story….I can’t wait for Unforgiven, it’s going to be another tear jerker!
