Secrets. Everyone has one. Some are bigger than others. And when secrets are revealed, Some will heal you ... And some will end you.
Review
This book was fantastic…..so sad but oh so beautiful and
amazing. Bright Side is one of those
books that you’re supposed to look beyond the sadness and see the true beauty
within, the “Bright Side”, it touches your soul, even when parts may devastate
you and break your heart. Kim does a fabulous job of making you see this, of
showing you how stunning this story truly is…of making you feel the emotions,
of making you live them, of making you breathe them, of making you fall in love
with these characters. I can’t put into words how much I loved this book, top
recommendation of mine! 5 stars.
"My life will not be a fairy tale, and that's okay. My life is reality."
Kate “Bright Side” Sedgwick hasn't had the easiest life. With a mother that didn’t care, and father who was absent, Kate was left having to take care of her sister, who was Kate’s life. Unfortunately Kate’s sister passed away. Kate has her best friend Gus and his mother, and that is it. Instead of looking down at life, Kate is always positive, always looking on the “Bright Side”, that’s why Gus gives her the nickname. Kate decides she wants a fresh start and heads off, leaving Gus behind to rise to fame in his rock band. At college Kate meets Keller Banks….the guy she never expects to meet and fall in love with.
Keller works at Grounds coffee shop, he’s the guy that every girl wants but he lets no one close….that is until he meets Kate. The attraction between the two is hard to deny, but both Kate and Kellar are keeping secrets...unfortunately these two lost, beautiful souls need each other more than they can ever imagine.
“I’m always looking forward toward the future…..I can’t afford not to. The future is all I have.”
Read this absolutely-positively-amazing book, listen to the message and carry it in your heart, appreciate the life you have and the people in it, and remember always “DO EPIC”!

I (Kim Holden) live in the greatest city in the world: Denver, Colorado. Some of my favorite things: reading, writing, the two coolest guys on the planet (my husband and son), my bicycle, Facebook, iced coffee, and music. I also love dreaming. And speaking of dreaming, I have a bit of advice for anyone reading this ... follow your dreams. It's never too late. Get started today ... heck get started RIGHT NOW! Make your dreams reality. I love to hear from fellow readers. Love. It. Please come find me. We'll hang out. It'll be fun:
