Capturing Peace by Molly McAdams ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Capturing Peace Synopsis:

Coen Steele has spent the last five years serving his country. Now that he's back, he's finally ready to leave behind the chaos of the battlefield and pursue his lifelong dream. What he wasn't expecting was the feisty sister of one of his battle buddies—who has made it obvious that she wants nothing to do with him—to intrigue him in a way no woman has before.

Reagan Hudson's life changed in the blink of an eye six years ago when she found out she was pregnant and on her own. Since then, Reagan has vowed never to let another man into her life so that no one can walk out on her, or her son, again. But the more she runs into her brother's hot and mysterious friend, the more he sparks something in her that she promised herself she wouldn't feel again.

Can two people with everything to lose allow themselves to finally capture the love they both deserve?

Review
Every time I read a Molly McAdams book she just manages to leave me speechless....she writes with such emotion and feeling, and every story I read of hers she manages to capture my attention and her characters capture my heart and touch me because they seem real! Now Capturing Peace is listed as a novella but Molly's book are long ya'll...so a novella to Molly is like a full size book...and I loved it! No complaining out of this girl either way she writes, because each time she manages to include all the elements of a great story and wrap it up just right! 4.5 stars.

"Letting me help you doesn't mean you can't do this alone, Reagan. Everyone knows you can, but you shouldn't have to."

Reagan is damaged.  She doesn't trust men after a high school boyfriend broke her heart and her trust.  She works and raises her son and hasn't dated in six years, choosing to be an independent woman and not rely on anyone. Coen is damaged.  Coen is a soldier trying to escape a traumatic event. When Reagan and Coen bump into each other accidentally there is no denying the attraction between the two, but Reagan will have none of Coen's advances.  Little do these two know, there is more of a connection between them then they can imagine, and their paths will definitely cross again.  Reagan and Coen quickly form a relationship but they have plenty of obstacles to battle.  Capturing Peace is a novella about second chances, family, and learning to trust and let go to find love.

"I knew that I'd fallen in love with him, and anything less than forever wouldn't be enough."

"Because I found someone who chases away my demons just by looking at me. I had a girl more or less fall into my arms who can make me forget everything just by saying my name. Why wouldn't I push for this?"

It's no secret that I'm a HUGE Molly McAdams fan.  If you haven't read a Molly McAdams book, add her to your TBR list....her books are a must!  Capturing Peace was sexy, romantic, heartbreaking, and oh so sweet.  A bit of advice....always keep tissues, wine, and chocolate handy when you read a Molly McAdams book :)

About Molly:

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. When she's not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm ... or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.
