For the last 15 years, Sage Mathews has had her eye on one of the Harper brothers. Each time she came even remotely close to catching his eye, he ruined it by taking advantage of the closest woman around. Despite her many attempts of capturing his attention, she repeatedly ended up suffering from the pain yet again. Having been hurt for the last time, Sage decides to pull herself away from the bad boys of Laker. Fate had a different plan for her… Certain surprises have drawn Sage back into the path of the Harper brothers once again, this time exposing her to their interesting...predilections. Possessing secrets of her own, she is thrown into a world she never thought possible. One woman holds the Harper brothers' hearts in the palm of her hands, but the true bad boy for her won't allow her into his heart. Will he ever drop his guard down and finally feel the true love from a woman? Will she allow one of the Harper brothers into her heart? Or will he demolish her entirely for anyone else?
I'm still trying to cool down after reading this hot, steamy, sexy romance. I thought my Kindle was going to catch fire. While this book had a lot of sex scenes, there also was a storyline woven around the scorched pages on my Kindle that kept me hooked.
Sage Matthews has been working very long hours at her own business & her friends, Lilly, Brianna & Kaidence feel that enough is enough already. They are getting her out for a night at a club, no matter what. Little does she know that the four, hot, Harper brothers she's known for a long time & been wanting for what feels like forever, find out she lied to them about what she was doing that night & show up at the club. I guess being the owners of the security business that has a contract with the club that she's at has it's advantages. This night starts the "fires" burning. Logan, Caleb, Jeb and Mac Harper can't stay away from her any longer. She frustrates them, ties them up in knots and definitely knows how to push their patience and limits.
Harper's Little Spitfire is a very steam novel. While I enjoy reading erotica and read a lot of it, the scenes were well written and thought out, but I'm wondering if there might have been a little bit too much of it. It definitely didn't take away from my enjoyment of reading and wanting to see how it all played out. There's the bond of friendship between Sage and her friends, sexual tension, frustration, hurt feelings and finally being honest with one another. Warning...there's threesome and foursome scenes in here. Yes, foursome. Couldn't quite picture this happening, but Angel Steel made it work. I'd read more from this author.
