Review

I must say I was a little surprised by this book.....I really thought the majority of it would revolve around Vegas, or what happened in Vegas, and that MORE would happen in Vegas but it was really such a small part of the book. It was still a good read though, 3.5 stars for me.

Spencer had just caught her boyfriend of two years, Travis, sleeping with his secretary.  To get her out of the house her friend Ryan suggests she go to a new gym and this is where she meets Brandon.  After several encounters with Brandon, Vegas included, they start a relationship and they both fall hard and fast.  They are faced with obstacles along the way.....like crazy, crazy ex-girlfriend drama but they love each other enough to try and make their relationship work.

This book was probably about 50% HOT and STEAMY sex.  Of course, that is always good but I would have liked to have seen a little more story line development, I had a hard time connecting with Spencer....maybe if we had more of her background, I would have loved to have seen how she felt when she caught Travis cheating, more emotion from her.

This is a good debut novel for Kimberly Knight. This book is def worth reading, especially if your looking for a quick read with drama and sex. Brandon and Spencer are such a cute couple, and of course I'm going to read Wanted which is book #2 to find out what happens next in Brandon and Spencer's relationship!

  3. Nah...if you shouldn't do it at home, ya shouldn't do it in Vegas...live it up, but your partying should never impact the ones ya love! ;-)

  4. Nah! Besides, I could never keep quiet about anything that happened to me! There is at least one person I would tell... I tell her most of my naughty secrets! This is assuming anything naughty or crazy would happen :P

  5. I think it should since it really isn't a true reflection of a person since alcohol or other types of influences may be involved for that one brief moment in someones life... then again the consequences of that brief moment can last a long time and you may not be a choice to leave it in Vegas or not.

  6. I don't think it has to. Because that goes both ways. If you don't talk about it other people won't be at liberty to discuss their trips and leave you curious.

Depends on the person and what happened in Vegas :)
