Review
Breaking Bedrock is the follow up to Bedrock, and the story picks up right where Bedrock left off. I would definitely recommend you read Bedrock first to understand the story. I enjoyed both of these books, they were quick reads, sexy and thrilling, and Breaking Bedrock wrapped the series up nicely! 4 stars.
We meet Addison Greyer in the first book, happily married (or at least she thinks she is), while her husband is off in China on a work assignment she decides to stay at their home with their children. Addison re-enters the workforce and meets the oh-so-handsome and wealthy William Hartman. Their love affair begins with a smoldering connection in an elevator.....yes an elevator! Can you say steamy?
Unfortunately, with the affair comes consequences for being connected to William. Scott Hammons is a madman who was after William, in turn he kidnaps and tortures Addison as revenge against William, due to a business transaction gone bad. Hammons is now out on bail and Addie is afraid.....afraid for her life and the lives of her children. She is also having to deal with so many issues including her husband, Patrick, who is trying to keep her in a loveless marriage for his own selfish reasons. William has only ever loved Addison and he isn't used to rejection. He fights to get Addison back at any and all costs. Will Addison finally put herself first and allow herself true happiness? Can two broken souls connect and find true love together?

I enjoyed this sexy, passionate, series that had a hint of mystery to it! My favorite part.....the Epilogue!! Loved how it wrapped everything up into a nice little package <3

Review
HOT!!! One thing that has to be said about Alayna and Hudson's relationship is it is smoking hot! No matter what the couple goes through, the undeniable chemistry and attraction, their crazy mixed up love and passion that drawls them to each other like a moth to a flame is always there and you can always feel it. This is one of my favorite series, and this was an amazing conclusion that kept me guessing to the very end, as my brain was working the story out in my head......I soooooo did not expect that, and I love when an author can shock me! 4.5 I give you ALL OF ME stars!
The Story
Forever With You picks up right where Found in You left off. Alayna and Hudson are together and trying to make their relationship work. They still have a lot of work to do in their relationship and a ton of trust issues to work through. Day by day, they are working through these issues and it is wonderful to see Alayna's growth and how strong she becomes and how her and Hudson's love progresses and continues to grow stronger. Unfortunately, there are still people that are against their relationship, and once major secrets are revealed.....life changing secrets....will their relationship survive?

Final Thoughts
This series is a must read! A crazy, passionate, intense love story between two individuals who are in no way perfect....they may be beautiful, but boy do they have their flaws, and that is what drawls them to each other....they help each other heal and realize what true love really is! Oh, and that ending....Hudson's POV....phenomenal!

Review
I wasn't really sure what to expect going into Angel After Dark, this was my first read by Kahlen Aymes, but I really enjoyed this one. I loved the banter and chemistry between the two main characters and I also loved the secondary characters. My only issue, and it's my own personal issue has nothing to do with Kathlen's writing style (which was flawless) or the story, is that it just ENDED. Obviously, I should have checked to see if there would be more books, and the story did end with a HFN, I just don't know how many several book series I can invest myself in. It would have been nice to see Angel and Alex's story wrap up and then possibly a spin-off of one of the secondary characters. Regardless, I gave Angel After Dark 4 Sexy, Sizzling Stars!

In Angel After Dark we meet our two main characters, Dr. Angeline Hemming and Alexander Avery, both of these two characters are alot alike in a way, being that they only used sex in the past to scratch an itch, so to speak. They always been monogamous to their sexual partner at the time, but it was never about a relationship or happily ever after, it was all about fulfilling needs. When Angel and Alex cross paths by chance in a hardware store there is an instant chemistry, but they never get the chance to act on it. Months later when their paths cross again, fireworks explode. Angel thinks Alex is arrogant and conceited, and Alex just can't believe the advice Angel is dishing out on her late night radio show (to his significant other at that), that his best-friend just happens to run. So when Alex's friend sets up this blind meeting, the sparks really fly! What happens when two people with very independent personalities and relationship issues collide? Can two people with control issues relent to each other and find true happiness?

Like I mentioned above this is my first book by Kahlen and it won't be my last. Angel After Dark was sexy, mysterious, and intense......I would definite recommend it and now that I'm invested, of course I have to read the next book. Hoping to see more of a true love story develop between Angel and Alex.

I know I’ve said this before in my
previous review of Arouse…..but this series right here is why I love to read,
and Nina has once again sparked my love of reading! It’s because Nina makes you FEEL and
experience every single emotion as if you were living it…breathing it….from the
first paragraph (see below) to the last paragraph, I was a goner!
Even from thousands of miles away, I
can feel my husband. I feel his thoughts
brushing against my skin, the breathing of his heart in rhythm with mine I feel
him in the world, a powerful, unyielding presence who will forever be my
shelter of safety and warmth.
Do you see what I’m taking about? Can
you feel it? My god, I felt Liv’s passion for Dean and throughout this book I
felt how Dean loved his wife. And boy did
Dean LOVE his wife! Dean love’s Liv how a wife is supposed to be loved…fully
and completely.
I have followed Liv and Dean’s story
from the very beginning and the journey has been absolutely beautiful. Awaken was the perfect conclusion to their
epic love story. There was no over the
top drama, some things I predicted, some things I did not. Nina perfectly wrapped up the story and I
couldn’t have been happier with the way it ended. It was very bittersweet for me however, this
is without a doubt my favorite married book couple, and I just did not want to
let them go.

One of my favorite POV’s is the male POV. Thou Shalt Not is a male POV written by a man and it was amazing being inside Luke’s thought process, refreshing actually since it was done right…spot on to be more exact. I’m so sick of being in whiny females heads hearing the same story over and over again, or reading about the perfect male lead who is a billionaire that is controlling, and can make a woman orgasm 10 times during sex. The lead character Luke has flaws, he is real. Luke is nerdy, intelligent, funny, quirky, drove an old car called the “Roller Skate” but still managed to be sexy and charming. The writing was superb and witty and I even caught myself tearing up quite a few time’s at the beginning of the story when re-living Luke’s past. I did not expect to feel so many of the emotions that I felt, and for this being JJ’s first release, that says something about his writing style. 4.5 stars.

Thou Shalt Not is Luke Harper’s story. Luke has had to deal with death and tragedy in his life way too young. He lost someone that was very special to him, and after that he closed himself off and swore off relationships that dealt with commitment. Luke has Holly on the side, his no commitment, friend with benefits that is always there right when he needs her. But Luke keeps Holly far away, never sharing anything personal with her, never really giving their relationship a true chance. The only person that he is close to is his co-worker Robin, a fellow English teacher and her husband Walt. When Robin falls ill, the school brings in April Batista as a substitute. When Luke sees April for the first time, he can’t turn away, he notices everything about her….especially how beautiful she is. There is just one problem, April is married with children. April is married to a famous baseball player who is known for his anger issues. When Luke sees how unhappy April is in her marriage he wants to try and rescue her. What’s a guy to do…..Holly on the back burner…April right in front of him but obviously committed to someone else…..can Luke resist temptation…does he really know April….is what he needs right in front of him? Read the book to find the answers to Luke’s dilemma!
