A hot, sexy, suspenseful romance!

Nina Edwards has an art degree and works at Anderson Gallery for Sheila Anderson, the owner. The job is more like being an indentured servant for her but she’s getting experience. And then….one night at a showing, she sets eyes on Tristan Stone. He is rich, handsome and when he looks at you, you just want to melt in those chocolate brown eyes of his. He sets Nina’s world off balance. “I closed my eyes to imagine his face. The deep brown eyes that spoke volumes even when he didn’t. The perfectly shaped mouth and the lips that had lightly brushed my check for just a moment, sending my body into overdrive. The masculine jaw of a man who looked like a man, not a boy.“ ~ Nina He doesn’t say very much in the beginning and when he does, it’s usually with one word answers which drives her nuts. And he keeps showing up unexpectedly in her life.

After they spend one night together, Tristan presents Nina with a contract. He doesn’t do this in person either. The contract is for six months stating that she will work for him as his private curator, locating art pieces to complete the suites in his hotels stateside & in Venice, Italy. He’s willing to pay her a generous salary with health benefits, 401K, etc. She also will live in his house.

She signs on for this position, but as time goes by, she finds herself falling for this complex man. She wants to learn more about him. She’s not the willowy, model type that she’s seen pictures of him with a various functions. So she’s a little confused as to what he sees in her.

But as time passes through their six months of being together, their personal relationship seems to be growing. What is a mystery to Nina & me are the phone calls that have him taking them in a different room. His moods definitely change to dark & brooding or tense after these calls. Nina likes to see him smile and she makes it her mission to do it more often and not pry into what these phone calls are about.

“This is who Tristan Stone was. Contradictions, on top of unanswered questions. And the more I know about him, the more I wanted to know the answers.” ~ Nina

As you get further into the story, you won’t want to put it down. At least, I didn’t. Things definitely take a happy turn, but then you are spun around as you find out that Tristan has kept something from Nina. And regardless of the feelings that these two have found with each other……will it be enough to keep them together??

A major event takes place near the end of the book. I swear, I didn’t see it coming and I cannot wait to see if Tristan and Nina can overcome what life has thrown at them. Their story will continue in “Fall Into Me”. I recommend reading “Crash Into Me”.

I really got into their story from the beginning. It’s well written, dark at times, hot & sexy other times and flows nicely. This is a new author for me & I will definitely look forward to other books written by K.M. Scott.

Sadie Miller has a past.  After a life altering moment her life took a turn for the worse and she did everything she could to feel numb-drinking, boys, and lots and lots of sex.  But as soon as those things had worn off she was back to feeling the pain of her loss.  Trying to turn over a new leaf she makes the decision to transfer to a new college for her senior year.  Sadie tries to avoid all things that can make her spiral back downward, but a chance meeting with Brady Carsen has her questioning which way is up.

Brady is the guy everyone wants.  Lead singer of the band, smart, hot, and popular.  What he wants, though, is Sadie.  When he finally gets her to agree to go out with him, he knows she's the one.  Only problem is Brady's family has secrets.  While he wants to be with Sadie and knows there's something special about her, he's scared to tell her the truth-scared it'll run her off.  

This story was super cute.  Sadie has so many insecurities when dealing with men and relationships.  She suffered a major loss in her life and used them to find relief-but now doesn't know how to tell the difference between those who truly care and those that are just using her for sex.  I loved reading about her opening up to Brady.  Brady was genuinely sweet with her and fought tooth and nail to get her to trust him.  He talked to her, understood her, and was patient with her as she fought past her demons.  While he had secrets of his own,  he still had hopes that she'd love him enough to stick around after she found out.

"God...I hope you love me half as much as I love you.  You'll have to in order to deal with this bullshit."

This story was a sweet, cute romance.  Both characters were likable and had you rooting for them to come together.  I love the build up of the next book to follow Grant's story.  All in all, it was a pretty quick and easy read if you're looking for some light- hearted downtime!

Review

I've read Andrea's G-Men series and absolutely loved it. Going into this series, I had a hard time connecting with the first book...mainly because Trey drove me insane. If your reading the series and you have the same issue as I did, don't stop...stick with it! By the time I got to book 2 I was fully invested in the story and the characters and Trey grew on me! The Baby Lites series is sexy, mysterious, emotional, and angsty.  4 stars overall for the Baby Lite Series!

The books mainly revolve around Trey and Tylar but the last novel revolves mainly around Gina (Tylar's best-friend) and Tristan (Trey's brother). Tylar and Trey meet at his family's home where Tylar is hired help helping at the stables, and Trey is a high powered attorney who is just helping while his parents are out of town.  From their initial meeting they share an intense connection and attraction.  No matter how they fight it, they can't deny how much they want the other.  Soon they develop a relationship but they have so many issues to overcome.....secrets are revealed, people are out to ruin their relationship, Tylar is trying to discover who she really is....their bond is put to the ultimate tests.  Will Tylar and Trey's love survive all the trial and tribulations it has to endure.....or will it crumble and break them apart?

“I can’t stand being apart from you. Please come back, baby? Please?”

“Kieran, are you okay?” I asked. I could have read his pulse wrong or I might have counted wrong but when the machine and my own count were synchronous with each other, then the patient must really be having a rapid pulse.

I removed the BP cuff from his right arm, pushed the vital signs machine to the side, and grabbed an ER admission packet.

His voice was clear inside the room. “My resting heart rate is50. After 25 laps in the pool, it may increase to a whopping 52.”

Why was he telling me this?

I stared at him for a few seconds.

He continued, “My pulse is fast because a gorgeous nurse is standing in front of me and she smells like vanilla... I haven’t had vanilla in a while.”

His dark stare burned through me, igniting a fire inside of me that actually had me struggling to find my next words. “Oh.”

He gave me a small cocky grin, his dimples slightly showing. I chose to ignore his statement. He was just another patient, right?

“Umm, can you lift your shirt up for me?”

He gave me a bigger smile as he followed my instructions.

Holy hell.

The muscles on this man were indescribable.

His shoulders were not bulging but they were solid. Well, they looked really solid, like rock solid, to me. I peeked lower, and saw his abs, striated with lean, packed muscle. If I had the benefit of pinching this man’s stomach, I was a hundred percent sure that there would not be an inch of fat. He sat up straighter,and I may have caught a sneak peek of the top of his dark blue boxer short with the words ‘Calvin Klein’ across the band.

“Do you need me to completely take my shirt off?” His voice broke through my dreamy state.

This is my first book of Anne Leigh's and it was great, loved the originality of the story. I'm sure I missed a little of the back story of the previous characters that we get a glimpse of in this book, but it didn't affect Kieran and Bryann's story in Love Untouched. 4 stars

Love Untouched is Brynn and Kieran's story.  Brynn Tanner is the former roommate of Sedona (Kieran's best-friend) and she is a traveling Nurse with a feisty attitude, she is beautiful inside and out.  Kieran is the #1 swimmer, he's in swimmers training for the World Championships. Brynn and Kieran meet several times and have great chemistry and an intense attraction when together but there is just one problem....one big problem....Milo Tanner the #2 swimmer, Brynn's brother and Kieran's rival.  How does Brynn choose between rivals....one she loves and could be her future and the other is her blood and has been there for her through thick and thin?

Then, there were the kinds that touched every fiber of our beings; that we would wilt away without it if it were lost. Lastly, there was a type of love that we could leave untouched"

I loved this book and I would definitely recommend it. Love Untouched was a well-written love story and Kieran was smoking hot! Can't wait to read more books by Anne Leigh.

Anne Leigh is a 30-something-year-old who refuses to let the calendar dictate her age. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Nursing. She likes to write about strong women and equally strong guys who grapple with their emotions when faced with something as intangible as love.


She lives in Los Angeles with her husband. With her crazy schedule, she gets frustrated at L.A. traffic and needs an escape to keep her sanity, which her characters provide.


She did not think of publishing her stories and when she finally did, she's truly appreciative of every, single person who found the time to let her characters become parts of their world.


She appreciates all the readers who leave kind comments/reviews on where they purchased the book because without them, all her stories would remain locked up in her computer.
