Three husbands—a dream come true or a pipe dream destined to break them all?
Mary Duncan likes to think she's as open as any modern 1960's woman, but when her boyfriend presents his vision of "family" she finds herself between twin brothers and a cousin—all willing to love her if she'll have them…together.
Loving Thomas and Paul comes easily, the sexy twins everything she'd never hoped to dream. If not for her new mother-in-law, the gossiping townsfolk, and the wall of silence from her own family, Mary would be in Montana heaven. Just as the young group finally start to find their footing with the new relationship, Duane Paraby returns from Vietnam, reluctant to join the relationship, but an integral part Mary refuses to give up.
When confrontation explodes around them, threatening to terminate their bonds before they're even set, Paul, Thomas, and Duane will have to prove they have what it takes to be Mary's men.
Content Warning: Explicit sex
This book was entertaining and very steamy. It was the first time I have read about a committed relationship between four individuals and the entire relationship revolved around the female with no m/m relations. It basically gave us an idea of what the relationship was like on the inside and the outside, showing their intimate home life and the prejudice they faced from forces that didn't agree with this relationship.
Thomas and Paul are twins and they want Mary. They also want to bring their cousin Duane into the relationship. This is something they knew they always wanted to do, as they feel like each man can give their significant other a piece of themselves that they feel they may be lacking in. The story starts out with Thomas in a relationship with Mary, he introduces Mary to Paul in the hopes of bringing him into their relationship. Mary is against the idea...having grew up in a polygamist community she wants nothing to do with it. Eventually, Mary gives in and develops a meaningful relationship with Paul and Thomas that seems to work well. When Duane comes home from the war, Mary has to fight to get him to go along with the relationship. Will Duane give in and join their family? Can they really make this relationship work?
This was a fast read for me and I enjoyed it. The sex scenes were steamy and the story was able to keep me engaged since it was different than the normal books I usually read.

BARNES AND NOBLE:
About the Author
I have been a teacher for over ten years, and needed a creative outlet for all my naughty thoughts. I received a bachelors degree in History and a Masters in Education, which led me to becoming a high school history teacher.
I love to read, I can devour a book a day, when given the chance or having the time. I can't pick one favorite book, there are just too many that come to mind. I do have favorite authors though. My top five authors are: Colleen Hoover, S.C. Stephens, Tarryn Fisher, CJ Roberts, and Kele Moon. I agonized over the top five. There are so many fantastic Indie authors that help feed my quest for the next best story.
Writing has been a journey unlike; filled with anguish, love, fear, and creativity. I'm excited for the next step and to share Kayden and Sophia.

In the third book in the Beautiful Bastard series, an agreement between a venture capitalist and a bookish woman quickly becomes a very NSFW version of My Fair Lady.
When Hanna “Ziggy” Bergstrom moves to New York City for graduate school, Will Sumner thinks his responsibilities to his best friend’s nerdy little sister will be limited to the occasional dinner and check-in. Little does he know that Ziggy is ready to break out of her bookworm academic shell and move more into bombshell territory. Of course she figures the gorgeous womanizing venture capitalist Will is the best person to help mentor her in this new field of study: dating.
Will takes on the challenge with more than a healthy dose of skepticism and humor, but soon finds that Ziggy just needed a tiny push, not a world of change, to reveal a woman every man seems to notice. Soon “Ziggy” is gone and the unfiltered, innocently seductive Hanna Bergstrom is hijacking his dreams, his moods, and even his orderly no-strings-attached dating life—beginning the night his mentoring activities move between the sheets
Candy.....this series is pure delectable candy, sweet and sugarcoated with just the right amount of sexy steam! I always say that BB is my favorite book of this series because Bennett started it all but Will just snuck in and stole my heart.....cocky, sweet, and sexy! 5 stars!
Hanna aka "Ziggy" is in a slump, it seems like all she does is work and spend all her free time in the lab. Her family is concerned since Hanna has no social life. Hanna's brother Jenson encourages Hanna to reach out to Will. Will was Jenson's college best-friend and spent tons of time with Hanna's family when she was growing up. Hanna was the younger sister and spent her summer fantasizing about the older Will, but Hanna was not even on Will's radar. Will is a player....plain and simple. He's cocky, sexy, confidant and even has hook-ups(woman) he has scheduled days of the week with.
After her families encouragement, Hanna reaches out to Will. They start spending time together running, having breakfast, texting, talking on the phone, and this leads to a friendship. This friendship leads to Will teaching Hanna not to be so socially awkward and even teaching her how to date. Hanna and Will are polar opposites, but it's not long before there is a spark igniting between the two that they can't seem to resist. Soon it's Will that wants more than Hanna's willing to give. Is Will really ready to give up his player status for Hanna? Can Hanna take a player like Will seriously, and believe her heart won't be broken in the process?
Fans of the series will love this installment and adore Will. If you haven't read the series yet, what are you waiting for?!?!?!

He is seeking absolution.
Flynn Caldwell has a hero complex and it’s one of the reasons he joined the New York City Fire Department. He has spent his entire professional career trying to atone for that one person he failed to save. Because, if he can do that, then perhaps he can be worthy of love again.
She is seeking escape.
Rowan Page’s life is nothing short of a disaster. Always immersed in trouble, she has only herself to depend on. She’s determined to pull herself out of this mess and make something of her life, despite the hard years she has lived on the streets of New York.
Together, they have the chance to become complete.
Flynn and Rowan’s worlds exist miles apart, but when a chance meeting brings them together, neither of them can deny the instant pull that connects them to each other. What starts as a tiny spark eventually flares into a fire so hot, it refuses to be extinguished.
Both are willing to jump feet first into the flames to see where it takes them, despite the risk of being burned.
“To kill some time and try to figure out the enigma that is this woman, I glance over at her and ask, “So….what’s your story?”
She looks at me sharply, “Mind your own business. My story’s not that interesting anyway.”
“Her stubborn pride has me intrigued, and her bravery in the face of some scary f#*…ing danger makes me respect her. She’s tough as nails and as beautiful as an ocean sunrise and I find the combination to border on the addictive side.” ~ Flynn
“She’s a stranger to me, and the only bond we share is that of savior and victim. In my line of work, that does not make for a lasting bond. I save someone, I go home and forget about them.
But there’s no forgetting Rowan Page.” ~ Flynn
Rowan is tough on the outside and is very closed mouthed about herself. She’s been through a lot and I enjoyed watching the walls that she’s built up around her heart start to develop cracks when she’s around Flynn. The banter between these two is rather cute. Rowan’s boyfriend is on the police radar and after the fire at the apartment, they would like to get something on him to get to his drug supplier. But Rowan’s has chosen the safest thing for her and that’s just to lie low, keep her mouth shut and just hope that he doesn’t find her.
Flynn doesn’t give up in trying to share some of himself with Rowan to get her to open up about herself. Off Chance is just as good as the others in this Off series. Sawyer Bennett delivers an enjoyable and entertaining book to read. I love her characters and what makes them who they are today because of what life has thrown their way. The chemistry sizzles between Rowan and Flynn and you know that when they do finally make more out of their relationship than “just friends” the sparks are gonna fly and I wasn’t disappointed. Flynn is so patient with her and doesn’t push her even when its taking a lot for him to hold himself back. Rowan will be worth the wait.
The rest of the Caldwell family do make appearances in Flynn’s story, as well as Danny and Ryan from Off Sides and Off Limits, and I enjoyed visiting with all of them again. I have found this Off series gave me everything I want from the books I read…..great characters that I fall in love with, who aren’t perfect, sizzling chemistry, strong family bonds, suspense, relationships that take some work to finally have a HEA, heart-melting moments, times that made me laugh and story lines that flow and make me want to keep reading non-stop. Highly recommend reading this book as well as the others!

#1 Beautiful Rose
Room for You Synopsis:
Four years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.
I tried to pick up the pieces and glue them back together the best I knew
how, but something was always missing.
A father for my two girls.
But then, Brody Murphy landed on my doorstep, literally. He was a carefree,
playful hockey player who barged into my life and messed with my head. He
left me more confused than I had ever been.
What if the one thing I thought I needed was the only thing holding me back?
“I didn’t know you’d been seeing anyone?” Viper responded.
“I haven’t, just met her last week when I was stuck up north in that damn storm. I wasn’t even looking for anyone, I was driving along, minding my own business and bam! Now I can’t stop thinking about her.”
Viper was quiet, staring off into space.
I sighed. “Go ahead, asshole. Give me shit about it, I can handle it.”
“I’m not giving you shit, I was just trying to remember if in my whole life, there’s ever been a girl that I couldn’t stop thinking about. There have been girls who I thought about for a night, then forgot them shortly after I fucked them, but thinking about someone for a week? No way. That’s worth fighting for dude. Season’s over, you have time. Turn the tables, prove her wrong. Then make her beg.”
If this is what I can expect of things to come from this author, I will be reading her books til I can no longer read anymore. I am in awe since this is Beth Ehemann’s debut novel. This story flowed, I loved the characters, the setting, the dialogue, I just freakin' loved everything. I did not want to put this book down for a second.
This story is about a young, single mom (Kacie Jensen) with 5 year old twin girls (Piper & Lucy). Their father, Zach, left before the girls were 1 year old and Kacie and the girls have been living in an apartment at the inn that her Mom owns and runs. Kacie hasn’t been in a relationship in 4 years and when a bad storm puts Brody Murphy at the inn’s door, Kacie is caught off guard. Sometimes, when you least expect it, love finds you.
Piper and Lucy are just too cute for words. Wait until you meet them.
Brody is a professional hockey player for the Minnesota Wild. He’s hot, single, genuine, caring and sweet. I want my own Brody. The things he says and does just made me melt and I’m sure that he’ll have the same affect on you, too. I surely did not expect to find another book boyfriend, but a girl can never have too many.
I walked over and looked out and my heart stuttered to a halt. Lucy and Piper were on the driveway with Brody, jumping in and out of rain puddles. I looked at my mom who was all teary-eyed watching them have fun. ~ Kacie
That scene in the rain, during the storm, made even my heart smile. Just about anything this man does turns me to mush. Brody and the girls were having fun, making the most of being stuck in some horrible weather and enjoying the simple things. And he’s nicknamed Lucy and Piper “Twinkies”.
Kacie fights the feelings that she’s starting to have for Brody. She talks herself out of even trying to see if a relationship would work with him. And I truly understood her reasons for holding her heart back. But Brody wore down any resistance I might have had way in the beginning for me. He gets where she’s coming from as he learns a little bit more about her and he stays in the game because he sees what could be and doesn’t give up.
“She smelled unbelievable;, a lethal cocktail of flowers and her pheromones set my mind into a goddamn tailspin. I wanted to drop to my knees and beg her to blow off the friend idea right now, but Viper’s words kept ringing in my ear. “Turn the tables, prove her wrong, and then make her beg.” ~ Brody
I loved the scene at the fair. Kacie is very afraid of high rides, but Brody talks her into getting on the Ferris Wheel of Death as she calls it. His methods are just too sweet for words.
“You were so scared, Kacie, just like you are about life. I wanted you to see that sometimes, even when something terrifies you, if you just give it a chance it’s actually pretty incredible.” ~ Brody
Other quotes I loved while reading…..
My eyes welled up with tears. This man was amazing, and I….was an idiot.” `~ Kacie
“When you left the inn that morning and I found you jersey on the fireplace. I jumped to conclusions.” Her shoulders dropped as she continued, “I assumed that since you were this single, big shot athlete, you must have been a selfish playboy who didn’t give a crap about family, or anyone for that matter. After hearing you gush about your mom, then seeing all your family pictures, and now this…..I was wrong, Brody. I’m so sorry.” ~ Kacie
“When we walk into that room, you’re going to put every other woman to shame. How lucky am I that you’ll be on my arm?” ~ Brody
Go grab this book, you won’t be disappointed and if you decide to wait, you’ll be sorry that you did and think to yourself “Why did I wait to pick this book up?” From the way the book ended, I’m thinking that there is more to come. You’ll definitely be shocked. I know I was.

Go to Harvard.
Get a degree in politics.
Marry Dustin Coleman.
Shit, I had my life planned out for me at an early age. my stupid fucks I called parents were influential politicians and I had to do as I was told...Get my degree in politics from one of the most prestigious colleges in the States, plan my wedding to Dustin Coleman son of a powerful DA and keep up appearances.
ALWAYS keep up fucking appearances.
But one night something snapped...
The pearl necklace around my neck quickly disappeared along with the prim and proper cardigans that I wore daily, gone was the elegant young woman of two high ranking politicians, gone was the innocent and naive Blaine Paxton. Now I was someone new...
Turning my back on my high maintenance family I set out to prove that a woman can do exactly what men can do...have hot, no strings attached fucking without consequences or feelings.
Until him...Ryder Wilde.
His name alone could make even the straightest of men fucking swoon, he was hot, sexy and...BADASS.
But now I want to know him, I want to see how fucking far I can push him. The man everyone wants but can never have. I want to be the one to tame him, to catch him.
Just so I can watch him fall on his ass.
And love every minute of it.
ExcerptOnce upon a time, I was sweet and innocent. Then shit happened. The End. Maybe I should start from once upon a time... See that girl over there? Yeah, the one in the disgusting pink cardigan and matching pearl necklace? That's me...Well, that was me two years ago before the 'shit happened'. So, I guess this is where I am supposed to pour my heart out and tell you I was abused or that my father was an alcoholic. No, this is where I tell you about how two people fucked me over by fucking each other. Can you see where I am going with this? Two years ago I was going to Harvard, two years ago I was working towards a degree in politics, two fucking years ago I was engaged. My whole life had been planned out for me from an early age, my father using his 'influences' to push me into the direction he wanted me to go. No, I had no fucking say in it, I mean Jesus! My parents are politicians. I couldn't even sneeze without permission. You think in this day and age a girl might be able to choose her own future, her own path. Fuck no, not me! I had to comply with the 'master plan'. What a pile of shit! Go to Harvard. Get a degree in politics. Marry Dustin Coleman. Dustin 'fucking' Coleman, even his name is vile! Sneaky piece of shit! Yeah, even my marriage was arranged. My mother had set me up with the son of a powerful DA and naturally she was ecstatic, me? Not so much. Felicity Paxton was a politician by day and a socialite by night, only meeting with the most powerful and money hungry names in the business. She was hell bent on keeping up appearances, always keep up appearances. No hair was to be out of place, no chipped nail polish and heaven forbid no frowning. “No one likes a bride with frown lines, dear.” She would say. She was fucking delusional. I played along with their sick and twisted games to manipulate anyone and anything in their path, including me. I didn’t have a choice in the matter anyway. I was a timid twenty year old, molded by her parents to ensure appearances were met. And if they weren’t well shit, I would be disowned. There is nothing worse than a powerful politicians perfect little girl going rogue. Anyway, I’m sure you’re wondering where this timid girl went right? Cue my ex-best friend Sophia; she was the daughter of the police chief inspector so naturally we were best friends. Gag me! She was also press hungry; she would do anything to get her face in the magazines. That included becoming my best friend and maid of honor at my wedding. Look I wasn’t always the bitter bitch I am now but hell; I thought I could trust Sophia. I know she was a leech but beside that she was my best friend, someone I could trust. Or so I thought. Keeping up so far? Good. So this is where the ‘shit happened’. Hold on to your hats because this is about to get pretty ugly. “What do you mean it’s no big deal? You’re in our bed with...her!” Yeah, you guessed it I walked in on my fiance and my best friend having sex in our bed, a week before the wedding/freak show. Now, if that was me now I would have cut them a new one. But that wasn’t me; I was timid and afraid of my own damn shadow. “Come on Blaine, it’s just sex.” Just sex? Apparently I had missed the fucking memo that it was okay to fuck your best friend a week before your wedding. “You’re kidding right? How do you expect me to be okay with you sleeping with her?” Was I the only person with a moral compass here? This was not okay. “No, I expect you to do as your future husband says and just get over the fact that I have a mistress.” Oh yeah, he played that card. But what really pissed me off was Sophia, sitting on my damn bed with a smirk on her face, not even trying to cover her surgically enhanced tits. “You look surprised Blaine? It’s funny how naive you actually are. You know your father has several mistresses.” The bitch spoke, damn what I would give to go back two years and kick seven shades of shit out of her. She was right though, as much as it fucking pains me to say it, my father was a notorious player. He had a shit load of mistresses that were happy enough to drop their panties for the politician. Fucking snake. But this wasn't about my father and his que of desperate whores, this was about my fiance fucking my best friend. And what the hell I was going to do about. I know you're desperate to find out exactly what I did. Did I run to daddy? Did I lose my shit and turn evil bitch on them? No, I did exactly what my parents feared most. I went rogue.

Having tried everything else, she turns to the internet in a last ditch attempt to find her elusive prince.
But Kate doesn’t want an everyday, run of the mill love.
She wants the kind of love that makes your heart skip a beat. The kind of love that makes you dance in the rain and bottle up the sunset. The once in a lifetime kind of love that authors write about, musicians sing about, and lovers dream about.
Could a certain police officer in training, who has come to her rescue in the past, be the one to swoop in and save her heart?
What if the love Kate desperately seeks has been in front of her the whole time?
She just needs to open her eyes to see it...
Having eaten our way through garlic bread, lasagna and a delicious baked cheesecake for dessert, both Mac and I are laid up in the living room. We’re recovering from our food comas, watching some crazy game show on television where people are training to become ninjas.
“I could never be a ninja. My big belly would get in the way,” Mac muses.
“I don’t want to be a ninja, although I’d be willing to date a ninja. Can you imagine the positions that he could get into? Oh my god! I just thought of one! The reverse saddle ninja.”
Mac sits up excitedly and faces me, bending one leg under the other. “No, wait. What about a ninja doing downward facing doggie style? They could probably hang upside down from the roof while fucking you. That would be awesome,” she says with a laugh.
“I know! Instead of the vibrating V, it would be the ninja nooner or the ninja nookie!” I say, struggling to talk though my laughter.
Mac looks at her phone briefly before putting it down and looking at me.
“Everything okay?” I ask, looking at her phone.
“Oh… yeah, great. Just checking the time. But right now, we need to talk about you.” Mac sits up and rests her hands on her stomach. I’m kind of envious of her right now, but I won’t admit that to her.
“Why’s that?” I say, intrigued. Definitely didn’t see the conversation shifting from ninja sex to me. Although, if I were honest, if I had ninja sex, I’d be a happy camper. Actually, sex of any kind would be acceptable right now. Anything other than the one handed dialing of the ol’ pink telephone. I should be buying my batteries in bulk with the frequent use my purple pearl vibrator has been getting this year.
