Mikalo's Flame by Syndra Shaw ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Ronan Grace and her Greek god in grey wool Mikalo Delis. Still happy, still in love, and now living together in New York.

Despite it all.

Despite the lingering secrets of Mikalo's past and his complicated life. Despite Ronan's own doubts and worries, the strength of her love for him both shocking and frightening. Despite the jealousy and spite threatening her once successful career. And despite the unexpected emergence of a drunk, drug-addled viciously vindictive blast from Mikalo's past.

Will Ronan and Mikalo stumble under the weight of all these challenges and doubts and confusion as they move toward creating a life together? Or will they fight, giving their love what it needs to survive.

Despite it all.

*This review was done by Jessie, one of Sugar and Spice's lovely guest reviewers*

Ronan has her doubts about her relationship with Mikalo & wonders about the possibility of having her heart broken. She is a partner in a law firm in New York City. He is very well off & continuing to run his family business.

Mikalo speaks such sweet, romantic & heartfelt words to Ronan. “My Grace” is what he calls her. I’m still swooning after being introduced to this man. He is from Greece & is so European. The way he talks, the love he has for his family & being true to them & his feelings for Ronan. There wasn’t anything I didn’t love or melt at with this man.

Now, what good would a book be if it didn’t have some characters that you didn’t care for or just wanted to smack. In walks, Abigail, another partner in Ronan’s law firm. She’s jealous of her & tries some underhanded tactics with the help of Marcus. What’s her deal anyway? And….I can’t forget Mara Byzan. She’s a rich, spoiled, spiteful, sloppy drunk who’s just pathetic & desparate. Definitely didn’t take a liking to her either.

I enjoyed this book & reading about Ronan’s & Mikalo’s relationship & having it evolve. Can it become something more? Hmmm, I wonder about this & got my answer. I’m looking forward to more from this author.

Excerpt 2 (a bit racier)

The light from the candles bounced off the ceiling, the walls, the shadows moving as the flames danced. My hands reached up and ran over Mikalo's naked flesh, his skin basking in a beautiful golden glow.

He moved inside me, gently, slowly.

We were making love.

True love.

Bending low, his lips met mine, his tongue easing into my mouth to taste, to lick.

I moved my hands to his head, my fingers threading through his dark hair.

God, I loved the feeling of his hair in my hands, my fist.

Moving my hips to meet his, he worked his way deeper.

He paused, savoring the feeling of my opening to him, allowing him in, giving myself to him.

We continued to kiss, my hands guiding his head as my appetite for him grew ravenous.

His scent, the feel of him, the sweat of him on my palms, between my fingers, the weight of him as he pressed his chest to mine, it was too delicious for words. I could live with this for an eternity, I decided.

This, I thought as his sigh warmed my cheek, the length of him filling me as his pace found its rhythm, languid and slow and perfect, this is what I wanted for the rest of my life. This man here, making love to me, loving me, allowing me to love him.

This is what I want my life to be.

Lifting my hips, I pushed myself into him.

He groaned, the helpless sound losing itself in the crook of my neck.

I kissed his cheek and then his ear and finally his neck, my lips slowly licking the smooth flesh, my tongue suddenly hungry to taste his sweat, my mouth moving to his sweet spot, there, right below the ear, and sucking.

He moved deeper still, stopping, finding my own secret, hidden sweet spot and, pausing, teased me.

His head moved from my neck, his lips searching for mine and finding them, his hand on the back of my neck, guided me into him.

"My Grace," he whispered.

"Yes," I said.

The pace quickened, slightly.

His eyes watched mine.

"I did not think my heart, it could love like this."

I rose and kissed him, my lips lingering on his.

God, I loved him.

"Mikalo," I said. "My Mikalo."

His eyes grew wet.

"Every day, my Grace," he then said. "Every day, I am yours. For my life."

Pretending He's Mine by Lauren Blakely ~ Review and Giveaway

PRETENDING HE'S MINE by Lauren Blakely
Release date: March 2, 2013

Once upon a time in New York City, there was a down-on-his-luck actor
named Reeve, who was talented and gorgeous in that dreamy, broody sort
of way that makes all the women swoon. But show biz is a rough biz –
he lost out on a part in a big film, and now his day job hours have
been cut too. What’s a handsome young thing in need of a role to do?

Enter Sutton Brenner. She’s sexy and shrewd and the most top-notch
casting director there is. She’s this close to landing a coveted gig
casting a film based on a best-selling mega-romance novel, but there’s
a catch. After one too many transgressions with lovely single ladies,
the film’s philandering producer has been put on a short leash by his
wife, who’s forbidden him from working with anyone unattached.

So the happily single Sutton strikes a pact with Reeve – play the role
of her fiancee until she closes the deal, and he’s guaranteed to get
an audition for the starring role in the film.

But as the two play pretend, the lines between make-believe and
matters of the heart start to blur. Especially after that hot night in
the balcony of the Broadway theater. And that scorching afternoon in
the stacks of the New York Public Library. Who’s playing who? Or is
someone else really the director in the secret affair of their lives?

PRETENDING HE’S MINE is a 30,000 word companion novella in the New
York Times and USA Today bestselling CAUGHT UP IN US series.

(It’s not necessary to have read CAUGHT UP IN US to enjoy PRETENDING HE’S MINE.
This is not a sequel. However, CAUGHT UP IN US fans should be pleased
to know that Jill has several scenes and that both Kat and Bryan
appear in a key scene in this novella! There will also be a bonus
scene from CAUGHT UP IN US never seen before included in the novella!)

Review attention everyone because this is how you write a novella. I've said it before....I don't usually read novellas but I would gladly read a novella that Lauren Blakely has written any day! I love her writing style and how she manages to make you feel like you are not missing out on any of the story or left hanging. I loved Caught Up in Us and I LOVED Pretending He's Mine! Be prepared, ladies the steam factor is turned up majorly in Pretending He's Mine! I think I've found a new book boyfriend in Reeve! 4 stars!

Sutton is a movie casting director who knows what she wants and likes to maintain control in her life. In order to land a major job she needs to find a fake fiancé. Reeve is an out of work actor who Sutton thinks will be perfect for the part. He's hot, has a great look, and is the perfect actor to pull off this stunt. Sutton propositions Reeve with an offer he can't refuse and before long the lines get blurred when there is instant chemistry and sexual tension between the two. One minute Sutton is hot, the next she's cold, and Reeve has to try to get her to let her guard down if he wants to have any chance of a future with Sutton. The question is can Reeve make Sutton believe that he really is not acting anymore.......and does Sutton feel the same way? After all, this was all just a game.....wasn't it?

I loved this story and I love that we get a peek of characters from Caught Up in Us....Kat and Bryan make an appearance, as well as Jill. If your looking for a quick, fun, sexy, story with some major steaminess than Pretending He's Mine is the perfect book for you! I can't wait to see what Lauren Blakely has in store for us next.

*This review was done by Emma one of our lovely Guest Reviewers*

OMG I literally read this book in a day & couldn't put the darn thing down! This book was right up my alley........ Full of sexual tension & angst. There were some parts in this book that had me on the edge of tears & some parts were I thought "Ah for goodness sake just get it together already". I would still rate this book as a 5 star, since I was so immersed in it from start to finish.

Scott Mason (major swoon) is so hot he sizzles, he's right up there with Kellan Kyle ..... Every home should have one!! ;)

Emma is British so that's something I could relate too being from the UK.  A couple of places were mentioned & I was like ah yeah, I know where that is so that was fantastic!

Fender Bender Blues by Niecey Roy ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Her life took a wrong turn. He's driven by success. They didn't count on crashing into love...

Rachel Bennett loved her job until the day she finds herself doubting her choices. Now she's hunting for a new career, but starting over isn't easy. Her plan is simple—no distractions until she finds her dream job. She didn't plan on fate throwing her a curveball in the form of a fender bender with a sexy guy in an expensive suit.

Craig Larsen is a wealthy, successful business owner with a plan of his own: survive his current PR nightmare and stay away from his overly determined ex-girlfriend. His need for control and personal success is turned upside down when he meets Rach, a sassy redhead who can't drive.

Soon they find themselves battling with Rach's grumpy old neighbor, toilet-papering the trees of a high school nemesis, and fighting over the last slice of pizza. Can two very different people plus one fender bender equal a chance at forever?

“Now what?”

“Nothing.”Rach sniffed.

Craig shifted to eye her warily. “Since when do you answer me with single words?”

“Since I decided I’m not talking to you,” she answered with a shrug, crumpling up the white paper wrapper from her sub.

Craig leaned his face in close to her neck and enjoyed the startled jerk of her shoulders. Her eyes opened wide in surprise. His breath shifted a few strands of hair at the nape of her neck as he whispered, “Why, because you want me?”

“You’re incorrigible,” she said, breathless, her cheeks flushed.

She’s enjoying this. The thought pleased him. Rach was on her back beside him now, her eyes closed. He glanced around the park to see if anyone was watching. No one was. He could swoop in for a kiss and no one would catch him. No one would care, he told himself. She won’t mind…

“I can feel you staring.”

Craig smiled down at her. “So what.”

She peeked at him with one green eye. “So stop it.”

“And if I don’t?” Maybe she’d tackle him, push him down on the blanket and…

She didn’t. She promptly closed her eye and went back to pretending indifference. “I’ll hit you, that’s what.”

“Not if I do this, you won’t.”

He’d only meant it to be a short kiss, but the pleasure of touching his lips to hers kept him there longer. Her tongue was velvet soft and warm against his and the slow mating of their mouths quickened his heartbeat even as he told himself, It’s no big deal, just a kiss.

She nipped his bottom lip and sent heat sliding through his body. The woman could kiss.

She whispered soft against his lips, “Now why don’t you admit that it’s you who wants me.”

Brandi's Thoughts

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I am really enjoying this series.  It has a Stephanie Plum kinda feel to them and I absolutely love that! If your looking for a series with passion, romance (and some steaminess), mystery, drama, suspense, and the ability to make you laugh our loud at points, you will love this series! I'm really enjoying reading it.

Questions for Tiffany

Sugar and Spice asked me what inspired me to write The Kathleen Turner Series?

Kathleen herself is an homage to one of my favorite heroines of all time – Nancy Drew. Kathleen’s strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes are a hat tip to Nancy as Kathleen pursues her own amateur sleuth goals, emphasis there on the amateur. I wanted to write about a character in her early twenties and just figuring out who she is and what she wants out of life, all of which becomes influenced by her boss, Alpha-male Navy SEAL turned attorney Blane Kirk. Their romance is tangled and sometimes Kathleen isn’t sure if Blane is the good guy or bad guy, whereas she knows for certain that his half-brother and assassin-for-hire Kade Dennon is definitely a bad guy. I wanted to continue my characters and their relationships through more than one book, thus the five-book series. Love triangles are like catnip for me and I was excited to write my own. The evolving relationships between Blane, Kathleen and Kade are the predominant theme through the series. Writing series characters is challenging and rewarding as they grow and change with events that happen to them.

Sugar and Spice asked me what authors or types of books do I like to read in my free time?

I love historical romance (Regency is my favorite) along with political thrillers and urban fantasy. Some of my favorite authors include Eloisa James, Jane Feather, Charlaine Harris, Lorraine Heath, Vince Flynn, Tom Clancy, Kathleen Woodiwiss, Kresley Cole, and JR Ward. I also enjoy historical non-fiction (my college degree is in History) and my favorite author there is David Hackett Fischer (I can’t recommend his book Washington’s Crossingenough). Lately I’ve been feeling nostalgic for when I first discovered The Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris so I decided to reread the series. I just started Club Dead.

The Submission of Alistair Ingram by Kelli Maine ~ Blog Tour

Movie star Alistair Ingram strolled into Dolls & Doms private men’s club in Las Vegas for his bachelor party and limped out with a torn shirt, red welts covering his chest and a broken engagement splashed all over the pages of every celebrity magazine in the country.

A session with club Dominatrix, Black Betty, will do that to a man.

With Alistair’s manager breathing down his neck and Black Betty’s abusive ex-husband alerted to where she’s been hiding for the past ten years, there’s only one thing to do:

And get the hell out of Las Vegas.

But the real ruse is on Alistair and Black Betty, because despite both of their best efforts, they’ve gotten under each other’s skin. Can their explicit dance of domination and submission end in anything other than disaster?

THE SUBMISSION OF ALISTAIR INGRAM is the first in a novella series from, where erotic tales from the Dolls & Doms private men’s club are told in weekly episodes.

This is the first book I have read by Kelli Maine, I own the Give and Take series but just haven't found the time to read them yet.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really loved Kelli's writing and I am looking forward to reading more of her books. I didn't put this novella down until I finished it, loved it!

Alistair's bachelor party is held in "Dolls and Doms" a private gentleman's club, Alistair is a "pretty boy", cocky movie star who is used to getting what he wants, when he wants it. When he meets the clubs top dominatrix Black Betty both of their worlds are rocked and turned upside down. They become involved and it's a constant struggle of power, Betty is used to being dominant(has past relationship issues) and Alistair needs control. The question is who is going to give into the other first?

This was a quick, steamy, sexy read with a bit of a love story thrown in. I can't wait to see what is next for Alistair and Black Betty, until then be sure to pick up your copy!

“You were all weird and awkward when I kissed you at your office,” he added.
“I’m sorry. I was just surprised.”

“I know. But we need to make sure you don’t jump the next time I kiss you.”

“We do?”

“Well that would give it away, wouldn’t it? You need to get used to
being kissed by me.”

“Okay,” she said with a business-like nod.

“That means we need to practice.”

“Practice kiss,” she said slowly, then nodded quickly. “Right. Of
course. Like a stage kiss. Like actors. So of course we’ll stage

She sounded chipper and cheery, as if she were trying to convince
herself. She seemed to need the convincing, so he went along with it.

“Think of this as a dress rehearsal. We’re prepping for the big kiss
scene that makes the audience swoon and totally believe we’re in love.
Got it?”
She nodded.
“Right here in the dressing room?”
“What better place to rehearse a kiss than a dressing room?”
“Totally. Absolutely. Definitely.”

Reeve wondered how many more adverbs she’d need to utter before he
kissed her. Perhaps they were a sort of liquid courage. Either way, he
knew he had to lead. He suspected he had more experience with stage
kisses than she’d had.

So he looked at her, as if she were the woman he’d been dying to kiss
for years. She was his leading lady, she was the only woman he wanted.
She returned her gaze, and then it was as if a flame burst. Reeve
pictured her ravenous and greedy, wanting to be consumed with kisses,
and hands, and so much more. Her lips were parted slightly, and her
breathing had become…lustful. Maybe she was acting too. In that
moment, he didn’t care. He wanted to taste her lips, he wanted to feel
more of her beautiful body. There was something about her, maybe it
was the age difference, maybe it was the power play. But there was no
time for analysis because his head was turning cloudy with a need he
hadn’t had before. He wanted to do things to this woman. He wanted to
make her feel the way a good boyfriend would make her feel – desired,
wanted, craved. She deserved all that. He could give it to her now. He
could give it to her for a week.

Brax has to keep her safe from people in her life who have ulterior motives and may want to hurt her.

Elise has no idea the threat she faces, and Brax wants to make sure it stays that way. But as Brax struggles with getting close to her, he begins to live a lie.
Unable to resist the pull that is Elise’s bright green eyes, infectious giggle, and loving heart, he finds it impossible to stay away, so the double life of being Elise’s boyfriend and keeping her safe begins.

Full of twists and turns, danger and revelations that no-one could predict, you won’t be the only one lost in distraction.

Brax and I decided to spend the day apart so that I could concentrate on a paper that’s due, because we struggle to get anything done when we’re together. After finally finishing the paper, I send him a text to see if he wants to come over tonight.

Elle: Wanna come over tonight? I’m all finished now

Brax: Of course darlin, I’ll grab some food and head over in about half an hour.

Smiling at his immediate reply, I decide it’s time to tease him a bit.

Elise: I’m sure you can think of ways to build up an appetite when you get here…

Brax: Dammit woman, how am I supposed to concentrate now!

Elise: As long as you’re focussed when you get here, I’m not worried ;)

Now, I know I’m being brazen, but after the morning wake-up call Brax gave me a few days ago, I can’t wait to be with him again.

I sent that text over an hour ago and now I’m getting nervous. I’ve been on edge all day anyway because I’ve decided that tonight is the night. I’m going to tell him about my past, all of it, warts and all. I don’t want to hide my darkness from him any longer, and although I don’t have nightmares when I’m with Brax, there are still a lot of those times. I want him to see my dark side, so I can be sure he is the one to show me the light.

Another hour passes with no sign of Brax. I text him to check that he’s still coming over. After still not getting a reply from him, I realise it has now been over three hours since he said he’d be here. Now I’m really starting to worry. This is really unlike him, usually if he’s running late he’d let me know.

I’m about to give up and head to bed when I hear a knock at the door followed by a loud thump against the wall outside. I rush over and look through the peep hole, but I can’t see anyone on the other side. I decide to open the door since I’m in a secure building, surely it can’t be too bad.

I open the door, my high-pitched scream echoing through the night at what I see.

Happenstance by MJ Abraham ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Welcome to our stop on the Happenstance blog tour.  Read the review and don't forget to enter the giveaway for your chance to win some amazing prizes.

Victoria Rivera never expected to be a divorcee by the age of 25. She was supposed to spend the rest of her life with Eric, the handsome, successful lawyer who promised her the world. When the unthinkable happens, Victoria swears to herself that she will not be so easily duped again. Heartbroken and lost, she decides that she needs a fresh start, in a new city, far away from everything and everyone from her old life.

After getting burned the first time, the last thing on Victoria’s mind is love. But happenstance leads her to a chance encounter with Jared, a sexy, kind-hearted veterinarian who is determined to get under her skin and in the way of her plans.

Can she learn to open herself up again and give love a second chance? Or will her past get in the way of any future with Jared?

Happenstance is a cute, fun, sexy read with a little drama thrown in. There were some parts of the story that were repetitive, and I caught myself wanting to strangle Victoria and her immaturity, but overall it wasn't enough to take away from the story which had great potential. 3.5 stars

The story starts with Victoria having to start her life over.  She is only 25 years old and having caught her husband Eric cheating on her, divorced. She moves away from her family and her ex husband so she can stand on her own two feet and start fresh.  She then moves near her friend Maggie and starts her career as a teacher. As fate would have it, she hits a dog she names "Lucky" and takes him to the nearest vet and she meets Dr. Owens.  Jared is a catch, he is sexy, single, caring, and of course has a great job. Jared and Victoria's relationship sizzles and they immediately hit it off. Victoria has to let her guard down and learn to trust again if she wants to have any chance at a relationship with Jared. Will she let Jared in or will she let her past relationship ruin their chance at happiness? You have to read the book to find out!

Walking Away by Adriane Boyd ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Twenty -five year old Coraline Renfro is in mourning. She and her long time boyfriend, Blake Parrish, have broken up and Cora hasn’t been dealing with it well. She’s shut herself off from the world around her, and buried herself in her work. Tired of being alone, Cora accepts a date from a colleague, and slowly begins to move on. When Blake comes calling again, will Cora take him back or will she show him how it feels to have a door slammed in his face and his hopes and dreams of a future with her dashed?

Walking Away is a short novella I read really quick, probably in 1 hour and that was with interruptions from my kids.

Walking Away is the Story of Coraline, who is heartbroken when she comes home to find that her longtime boyfriend has left, packed all of his things with no warning, not even a letter (uuugghhhh douche....who does that?) She struggles to move on and eventually is able to do that and find love again with her co-worker Charlie.

This was a cute story about letting go and finding love again.  I'm not really a fan of novella's because I always want more, but I was happy with the way this one ended and I am really looking forward to reading Adriane's full length novel when it is released.

Excerpt 2 (a bit racier)

I pulled myself up a little more and put my lips to his. He kissed me back, and hoisted me up a little higher on his body. He ran his tongue across my bottom lip and I moaned in response, opening my mouth to him for exploration. As his tongue entered my mouth, I slipped my hand under his shirt and savored the feel of his hard abs and smooth skin against my fingers. Before I could even register what he was doing, he gripped my hips and flipped us over so that I was underneath him with my back pressed into the cushions. I ran my hands up his stomach and traced the planes of his chest, all the while he deepened the kiss.

Just as he slide his hands up my shirt and cupped my breasts, someone knocked on the door.

“Son of a… What the hell?! Were we expecting anyone?”

Adriane is a mother and a writer who resides in Southeast Virginia. She enjoys music, writing, and snuggling up with a good book.

Walking Away is her first self published work, and she is also working on writing her first full length novel. if you can't find her playing around on Facebook (which is unlikely), you can certainly find her at either her son's school or one of his Tae Kwon Do lessons. Moving Forward by Erika Taylor ~ Cover Reveal and Giveaway

Moving Forward
by Erika Taylor

Jesika Reynolds’ heart was left broken one year ago when her husband died, leaving her and her son alone in this world. Slowly, she started putting the pieces back together of her life. Knowing that she may never open herself up to love again. That was until the day Derek came into the picture.

Why does this gorgeous stranger seem to care so much, so suddenly?

Derek Jordan's charm drew her in with an instant connection, and familiarity that helps her feel at ease. Her heart is falling at his feet, but as their relationship grows, so does a secret from both of their pasts that neither saw coming. One by one, the threads slowly start to unravel.

Can their newly sought love stand up against the secrets that life is unlocking to their pasts? Or can they decide together that moving forward and forgetting the past is the only option for them to find true happiness?

Let me start off by saying, I love my bestie Mallory all the time but sometimes… I really, really love her. She always knows how to pick my spirits up, or how to get me to do something I think is completely crazy, but is actually so needed. So, with that being said, the fact I haven’t seen Derek in four days sucks. No, scratch that, it completely blows.

Admitting that I actually have a crush on someone is still hard to admit to myself. It almost feels like I’m cheating on Jake. The fact that I’m thinking about seeing Derek more than thinking about how much I miss Jake is making me feel somewhat guilt ridden. Then again, I also know that it is something I need, I know I will never forget Jake…no matter who is in my life but that doesn’t make it any easier. I’m kinda confused by these sudden feelings I’m having for someone who is practically a stranger.

When I get home after being thoroughly disappointed again that there was no Derek at the school, I feel like I’m about to Hulk out. Maybe it’s the way he left me Friday night…a little worked up, hot and bothered, moisten between my legs…freaking feeling like a lioness in heat.

He’s a freaking tease. He did this to me on purpose.

I walk into my room and on my bed is a little purple with yellow polka dots gift bag with a card sticking out. I take the card out and it reads ‘Thinking of You in Your Time of Need’ on the front.

“Humph….” I say to no one in the room. I open the card and read it aloud. “Hey Jes! I know you’d never buy this for yourself, but trust me when I say, you need it! Seriously, I am your Best Friend. Love ya, Mal.”

I dump the bag over and pull the pink tissue paper away. “What the hell is that?” I say, again to no one. I pick it up and I swear I’m holding a bedazzled tampon holder. It’s small, fits in my hand and it’s slightly bigger than a lipstick holder. I go to open it and the damn thing starts buzzing and shaking in my hand. I drop it.

Holy shit!

Mallory bought me a battery operated toy. I start laughing thinking about our conversation after the concert. She was so right, I would never buy myself a battery operated toy or any kind of sex toy.

For the last year, sex has been the last thing on my mind. The fact that I’m now experiencing some signs of sexual tension makes me blush as the butterflies start to flap around because I know damn well who is responsible for these reincarnated feelings.

Conspiring by J.B. McGee ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

When Bradley refuses to take Veronica to his cousin's wedding, she finds herself in the company of the charming and attractive Ian. There is no denying that Veronica and Ian have an intense, mutual attraction which draws them together like magnets. But what neither of them realizes is that their attraction isn't the only thing pulling them together. It is a small world, and it’s about to get a whole lot smaller when an innocent fling turns into an intricate plan to conspire.

There is something about characters that I love to hate that I just can't get enough of......and let's be honest, I have a love/hate relationship with Ian and Veronica, but yet I enjoyed their story almost more than Bradley and Gabby's...okay maybe I just secretly love them. 4.5 stars

We finally get the story between Ian and Veronica. Most is told in Veronica's POV but we do get a touch of Ian's POV at the end. Finally I could understand Veronica better and I really felt her emotions and connected so easily with her.  After Bradley, the handsome, rich, CEO continue's to use Veronica for their weekly "appointments" and won't make any more commitment, Veronica's feelings are hurt and she feels used, she heads out for a night on the town and just happens to run into none other than Ian.  Ian and Veronica share a mutual physical attraction and an instant connection that leads to a night spent within each others arms.  The steam factor is majorly turned up in Conspiring and I absolutely loved it! The events that lead up to Veronica showing up at Bradley's and Ian arriving at Gabby's are revealed. Ian and Veronica are perfect for each other and this novella just proves it! I really hope we get more of their story!

J.B.'s writing style and ability to suck me in to her stories just keeps getting better and better, and she does not disappoint with Conspiring.  Conspiring is the perfect companion novel to bring clarity to the events of Broken and Mending and tide us over until Forgiven's April release.

Despite it all.

Excerpt (18+ Hot and Steamy Alert)

I slipped out from underneath him and kneeled, facing him.

He watched me, silhouetted in the orange and red of the fire, the flames in the fireplace having quieted to a glow.

Peeling the shirt over my head, I ran my hands over my breasts, my pace slow, my fingers calm, unhurried.

I avoided his gaze as I traced my own sensitive circles of flesh, the pink eager and willing. Hungry for a touch. A kiss. The twin nubs yearning for the grazing of teeth.

I knew he was watching. I knew this excited him. And I knew the more I did and the slower I did it, the more desperate his need for me became.

Grabbing a nipple, I pinched. Hard.

I closed my eyes, losing myself to the gentle pain.

He sighed, the unexpected breath thick with emotion. With need. Desire.

And then he cleared his throat, softly, as he swallowed, his tongue shooting forward to quickly lick his lips.

I glanced at him from beneath the curtain of my dark bangs.

His eyes were on my flesh, my fingers caressing my breasts, my stomach. The small pink mountains of flesh he so loved to suck and lick and bite.

Standing, I undid the first button of my jeans.

He raised his head, watching me.

Moving near him, I lifted a foot, placing it in his lap.

He took it, slowly peeling the thin sock free and wrapping his large hands around my slender heel.

Taking it from him, I offered him the second.

Again, the resilient cotton came clear, the foot briefly held and caressed.

I snapped the second button open.

The jeans slid from my waist, the remaining buttons preventing the denim from drifting further.

Shirtless, hungry, horny, Mikalo waited, his frustration growing as his hand flirted with the hardness still hidden in his pants. The fingers first gripping his width and then moving away, denying himself the necessary luxury of that squeeze, before moving back, his need for release growing as I undid a third button.

I stepped away from him and turned, my back now to him.

My hands reached to my breasts again, feeling the generous, smooth flesh, the pink once more teased and pinched.

A fourth button snapped free, my gaze quickly catching his as I looked over my shoulder.

His hands were now rubbing the flesh of his own chest and torso, the fingers toying with his own dark nipples, his mouth slightly open as his breathing grew ragged, the tongue sneaking out again to run themselves over his lips.

I slid the denim down and stepped free.

Behind me, he moaned.

"My Grace," came the whisper.

My ass was nice. This much I knew. As were my legs. Slender but strong, the calves sculpted from years of navigating the city's streets and climbing its many stairs in an almost endless variety of heels.

My fingers hooked into the only thing separating me from nakedness, the fine layer of silk hugging my hips.

I turned, toying with the thin fabric covering the growing damp.

"Now you," I said, holding his gaze as he watched me.

He stood, shirtless, barefoot, and ready, the length of his desire stretching the denim down his thigh.

Mogul by Ginger Voight ~ Blog Tour and Giveaway

Book Three, Mogul:

In the final book of Ginger Voight's Groupie Trilogy, Andy and Vanni have returned to Los Angeles to happily prepare for the birth of their child. A reformed Ladies' Man, Giovanni Carnevale now embarks on a fairy tale life of monogamy with the woman he loves, but the ghosts of his past still continue to haunt their newfound happiness.

The Wilke family wants to see him pay for the damage he has done to their precious Baylee, who still lies in a vegetative state. For her brother, Donny, money will never be enough to make up for what Vanni has done, but that is where the Wilke family first seeks their revenge. They demand millions of dollars in restitution, which forces Vanni to reevaluate his career path and participation in his band, Dreaming in Blue.

To ensure he has enough money to make up for his mistakes as well as provide for his baby, Vanni takes on the job as judge for a new reality talent show called "Fierce." Here he champions an unlikely contestant, proving to his detractors that he truly is a man of substance - more than anyone could have imagined. This includes producer Graham Baxter.

Graham tries to move on, but when he discovers that Andy is pregnant he cannot stop dreaming of what might have been. Maggie watches on helplessly, as hopelessly in love with him as he is with someone else. She considers moving on before he shatters what is left of her heart. It takes a couple of matchmakers (and a fairy godfather named Jorge) from "Love Plus One" to show Graham a side of Maggie he's never seen before.

The biggest threat to Vanni and Andy's Happily Ever After is grifter Holly Neal, who returns to Los Angeles claiming to carry Vanni's baby. Graham and Andy suspect she is up to her old tricks, but Vanni knows truly turning over a new leaf means he has to do right by all the people he has wronged - including a child he may have conceived with another woman.

In the end, it is Andy and their baby who may pay the biggest price of all for his sins, when Baylee's unexpected death finally sends her psychotic brother over the edge.

Everything blows literally to pieces, forcing Vanni - and Graham - to risk it all for the sake of love.

Author Ginger Voight continues her popular GROUPIE saga with book three, amping up Rubenesque romance with steamy sensuality, and pulling the curtains off of celebrity royalty.

OMG HOLY BATMAN! This series is one intense, crazy, crazy ride! I have a serious love/hate relationship going on......this series consumed me and all I could think about was getting back to these books! There is lying, cheating, love-triangles, stupidity, angst, drama, mind is reeling, my heart is breaking...I'm screaming, I'm crying, I'm frustrated....but somehow I can not put it down!!! I think you get my point, loved them!

Andy the female lead is not your typical herione which I loved. She is thick and has curves for days, is down to earth, and doesn't fuss over her appearance. Vanni is her drug, she can't let go and she can't get enough.
Vanni IS your typical rockstar, he's hot, arrogant, mysterious, cocky....basically he is a douche! One minute I wanted to slap him and the next I wanted to lick him ;) He doesn't realize it yet, but Andy is his drug also.
In this series we are thrust into their whirlwind relationship. We see Vanni's rise to fame and how it and other factors....including the fact the Vanni's an idiot....just saying.....tears them apart again and again. But something happens along the way and we get to see love grow and characters change.  This series is a must read!!!

ABOUT GINGER: Ginger Voight is prolific author, freelance writer and optioned screenwriter. Her fiction is diverse, with novels like the edgy, coming-of-age drama DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS, and the fun family adventure for kids of all ages, COMIC SQUAD.Having grown up reading different authors like Danielle Steel and Stephen King, Ginger has always been drawn more to story than to genre. This shows up in her various stories. Titles such as MY IMMORTAL and TASTE OF BLOOD are a delicious, heady mix of horror, suspense, and romance.Genre romance, however, has held a special place in her heart, ever since she read her first Harlequin novel when she was only eleven. As a result, Ginger is making a name for herself writing romances of her own, starring women who look more like the average American woman rather than those traditionally represented in the size-biased American media. Her Rubenesque romances were created especially for those heroines with fuller figures, who can still get the man of their dreams if only they believe they can.
